Performance Task 2
Developing contextualized instructional materials appropriate for the demonstration
teaching modality.
Choose a topic from the list of lessons of your Cooperating Teacher and collaborate with
him/her in designing and creating contextualized instructional materials for the class. You may
also surf the net for samples to better guide you in preparing these materials. Provide photos,
paste and label them “Working on My Learning Artifacts”.
Topic: Drawing and Handicrafts Making Grade/Year Level: Two
Contextualized Instructional Materials How these Will Be Used
I will use it on the specific activity which is
Pictures and Visual Symbols called “Classroom Exhibits”. In this activity,
(Drawing) they will learn how to draw and make arts using
various recyclable materials that are available
on their home.
Demonstrations I will use it through activity which is called
(Process of making handicrafts) “Film Showing”. In this activity they will see
the process and procedure of making
handicrafts.

How do instructional materials and ICT tools help the students learn more effectively and
efficiently?
Instructional materials and ICT tools help the students to learn more effectively and
efficiently by contributing the high quality of lessons since it has a potential to increase students’
motivation, connect students to many information sources, support active in-class and out-class
learning environments, and it can let teachers allocate more time for facilitation. Also, it can
build strong teacher-pupil relationship that will allow both teachers and pupils to experience a
meaningful teaching learning process.
