I. RATIONALE:

Datu Pangolima Integrated School-Senior High School Department aims to conduct

Seniors’ Prom to Grade 11 and 12 students. The school seeks to help students learn how to converse
and mingle with people they are acquainted with and the strangers to them in a very formal occasion.
It is also a way to let the students know the exact and proper etiquettes and to heighten up their social
skills and knowledge.

Senior’s Prom allows the learners to carry themselves with class and confidence. It
also provides them the chance of enjoying the night as they dance and groove on the dance floor with
their friends. Aside from the joy, fun and camaraderie, the event marks the “coming of age” of the
students as they step into “young adulthood” with its responsibilities and become ladies and
gentlemen.

  provide a social event that allows learners to practice formal interaction decorum.

Enabling Objectives: At the end of the activity, the learners will be able to:
a. identify the exact and proper etiquettes and heighten up their social
skills and knowledge;
b. allow them to carry themselves with class and confidence; and
c. provide them the chance of enjoying the night as they dance and
groove on the dance floor with their friends.

A.7. Methodology:

On February 1, the senior high school department convened a meeting for the parents of senior
high school students to deliberate on the upcoming Senior Prom 2024. Out of a total of 100
parents, 60 attended the meeting. The agenda covered crucial aspects of the event, including its
significance in the students' progress, the selection of the venue, menu options, decoration themes,
and the overall flow of the program. Discussions were thorough, aiming to ensure the Prom would
be a memorable and enriching experience for all involved, reflecting the school's commitment to
fostering a supportive and celebratory environment for its graduating seniors. Additionally, all
parents unanimously agreed to voluntarily contribute 400 pesos each per student to cover the
expenses associated with the event, demonstrating their collective dedication to making the Prom a
success.

The Seniors Prom will be held on February 23, 2024 at Brgy. Sapu Padidu Gymnasium, Malapatan,
Sarangani Province. It will start at exactly 4:00 in the afternoon. The activity will be facilitated by the
Senior High School Teachers of DPIS.
