Home management is essentially the process of keeping your home running smoothly.

This includes everything from


grocery shopping and meal planning to cleaning and organizing. And while it may not seem like the most glamorous task,
it's actually essential to maintaining a happy, healthy household.

- This area of Home Economics is centered around teaching the key design elements for home decoration and
maintenance. Cleanliness and organization were a big focus of this area of Home Economics as these were tasks that
were almost always the responsibility of the women.

Let’s look at an example of home management areas you need to consider:

 Cooking meals
 Shopping for meals and food for the family
