ACTIVITY 13
SECURING HEALTH/ ACCIDENT INSURANCE
Work immersion accident insurance, also known as internship accident insurance, is a
type of insurance coverage that provides protection to individuals during the period of their
work immersion or internship. Work immersion refers to a structured educational program
where students or trainees gain hands-on experience in a real-world work environment
related to their field of study.
This type of insurance is designed to cover medical expenses and other financial costs
that may arise if the student or trainee gets injured or experiences an accident while
participating in the work immersion program. It's important because traditional health
insurance policies might not always cover accidents that occur in a workplace setting during
these educational activities.
Work immersion accident insurance typically offers coverage for various situations
such as accidents, injuries, and sometimes even disability resulting from incidents during the
internship period. This can include medical treatment costs, hospitalization expenses, and in
some cases, compensation for partial or permanent disability. The specifics of coverage can
vary depending on the insurance provider and the terms of the policy.
ACTIVITY 14
PARENTS’ CONSENT FORM
A Parent’s Consent is a document that seeks the approval or consent of a parent or
legal guardian for their child to engage in a specific activity. It outlines the nature of the
activity, its purpose, the date and location, and any potential risks involved. By signing the
consent form, the parent or guardian acknowledges that they are aware of the activity and its
associated risks and grant permission for their child to participate.
A waiver is a legal document that releases an individual or organization from liability for
(Please or

losses of your
that may health/
occur as a accident insurance) in a particular
result of participating
activity. When a participant signs a waiver, they essentially agree not to hold the organizers

to protect organizers, institutions, or businesses from potential legal actions.
