Business Leaders Innovative Thoughts and Solutions (BLITS) and Disability ACT invite you to an exciting workshop presented by Nick Stanhope CEO of the international We Are What We Do movement. Free for students, people with disability and accompanying carers The workshop is about innovative approaches to engaging citizens, particularly children, young people and corporations, in taking individual and collective action to include everyone in their community. The workshop will have a focus on including people with disability. This workshop is for primary and high school teachers, community education and development workers, advocates, community engagement and policy officers as well as people working in corporate responsibility areas in the private sector. We also welcome students, parents, people with disability, family members and other interested community members who want to learn more about how to change the world. We Are What We Do is a not-for-profit company, that creates ways for millions of people to do more small, good things, helping address social and environmental issues. We Are What We Do have produced international best sellers Change the World for Ten Bucks and 31 Ways to Change the World. All the actions in the books aim to improve someones life or contribute to change in the wider world.
