Production Schedule
A proposed schedule for the project must be created by each
student. This will help them understand the time frame for their
work, aid meeting the deadline and help when organising cast and
crew for the filming periods.

Bibliography
A bibliography page to be added so it is easier to update throughout
the project. An outline of what they intend of researching should be
included at the top of the page to give them initial direction.
Friday lessons 9 - 12
Competition or Client
All students must find either a competition that they could enter
their work into or research into a client if they are producing the
piece for someone.
Issues
Problem solving document to be downloaded and completed.
Reflecting on previous issues faced and how they can be avoided
this time round. What other issues could present themselves during
the written and practical work?
Brief
Collate information above into a branded brief. Includes:
Deadline
Detailed idea
Initial target audience
Production schedule
Competition / client
Ethical considerations

developed from word to concept.

4. By the end of this week, Monday – Wednesday: Lessons 1 - 8 Research skills
Monday 29th students should have Test Shoots
April 2024 researched their topic These should challenge students’ skills and focus on developing Problem solving
and have developed new skills or mastering old. They should be genre specific and be
their idea based off their planned and executed with the final production in mind. Must be Social and ethical

A variety of primary research methods to be used to gather
information on what the audiences want to see.
How will you use this information in your production? Write out
idea with developments – highlight what changes have been made
to the idea based on the findings.
What platform should it be shown on? Are there any age ratings
guidance? How will you ensure its success?

Primary research to be student is creating. ALL productions must have a script and
sent out location recces but the remaining is tailored to the individual. Communication skills

Prepare Pitch (guidance on Vibe)
All students due to be in class editing their footage. Multiple drafts Creativity
are required to show improvements.
Practical skills
All draft edits must be uploaded with a written analysis detailing
what needs to be improved. Teamwork
Some students may use some of this time for re-shoots on the Problem solving
request of their teacher.
