Financial Proposal and Services

Note:- In each service we are offering 20% of the final amount to the school based on pricing shared in this
proposal.

SERVICE DELIVERABLES AND EVALUATION OF STUDENTS :

 Classes will be conducted by professionally trained AVAS teachers (On company payroll)
 Start from APR 2024 to Mar 2025
 Books/Test papers will be checked by AVAS teachers
 Responsibility to address parents’ queries will be of AVAS teachers on every PTM Day
 Evaluation of Students’ Test Papers followed by certificates and medals after every level completion.
 An audit will be done in school to check the progress of children once in two months.
 The Teacher will take only one day leave once a month
 Teacher will be entitled to all leaves as per school leave calendar on the teacher salary project
 No Compensatory classes in lieu of any holidays or school exams.
 National championship every year in the month of SEP OR OCT at additional fees, date
will be confirmed by the principal. The national level date will be taken in the month of JUL.
 First Level completion of exams should be in September or the beginning of Oct.
 Second Level completion of exams should be in the end of Feb or the beginning of March.
 Teacher &Auditor attendance should be marked by the School.
 Syllabus copy or Teaching Schedule will be provided by AVAS to the AVAS teacher

ANNEXURE II

COURSES DETAILS
ABACUS – Classes 1 to 5
KIT Details –

 Every student from classes 1 to 5 will get the ABACUS Kit - 2 books + 1 Abacus Tool in *LEVEL I in April and
every student will get 2 books of *LEVEL II in Sep/Oct

VEDIC MATHS – Classes 6 to 9


KIT Details –

 Every student from classes 6 to 9 will get a VEDIC MATH kit - 2 books + 1 Folder + Stationary in *LEVEL I in
April and every student will get 2 books of *LEVEL II in Sep/Oct

ABACUS and VEDIC MATHS

1. Class Delivery - AVAS Teacher in school


2. Class Duration - As per the school time table
3. Total Classes in ABACUS[1-5 CLASS]–16 Session per level and in the school premises
4. Total Classes in VEDIC MATHS [5-10 CLASS]–12 Sessions per level and in the school
premises
5. Course Duration of TWO LEVEL – 9-10 months
6. 2 periods in a week are to be adjusted in the timetable for every section for completion of 2 levels in one
academic year for ABACUS.
7. 1 period in a week is to be adjusted in the timetable for every section for completion of 2 levels in one
academic year for VEDIC.
8. Class Schedule - Abacus 2 Classes per week or 1 hour in a week and Vedic 1 Class per week
9. Batch Size - Section-wise class or 35 to 40 in one batch
10. Batch Details - Class-wise or Age Group Wise for better results
11. Every child will be evaluated after every level with an exam and will be given a certificate. Medals will be
given to meritorious students.
12. There will be a minimum of 3 medals for each class as First, Second, and Third prize, depending on the
result of the class. Our criteria is 100% GOLD, 95%-99% - SILVER and 90% - 94% BRONZE
13. Class 1 - 10 Levels; Class 2 – 8 Levels; Class 3 – 6 Levels; Class 4 & 5 – 4 Levels each in ABACUS
14. Class 6 to 9– 5 Levels each in VEDIC MATHS.
15. The school will provide time table to the AVAS Coordinator.

ANNEXURE III

We would like to share some facts about the courses Abacus and Vedic Maths respectively.

As people have some misconception about these courses, we wish to throw some light on some facts about these
courses. The below mentioned facts are supported by scientists all over the world and many eminent
mathematicians

ABACUS
Many people believe and have said that abacus deals with attaining proficiency in the calculations (procedural
aspect of math). This is the visual result and the result of the hype created by people. However, the actual benefit
and result of abacus is concentration improvement and brain development through the concept of visualization.

Abacus is a level based program which includes the basics of arithmetic such as
 Addition (to begin with single digit then double digit then triple digit)
 Subtraction
 Multiplication
 Division etc
However when we see the result in a child’s (visual) solving calculation of 5-10 rows of addition/subtraction or
multiplication/division and giving the answer in 3-5 seconds without using any tool or pen paper we assume that
abacus improves the calculation, and we tend to say that the child's calculation power has improved this is an
incorrect statement. The right statement would be to say that the child concentration has improved.

Now, how does this happen, --- Actually, concentration improves only when we will use all our senses at one
particular time and abacus is the only activity in which all our senses except sense of taste and smell are used while
doing this course. Hence the result is drastic.

By drastic, we mean two things, First that the result of oral calculation is not only in 10-15 % children but in more
than 75% children doing the abacus course (It is a proven fact can show the result in more than 30000 children of
various schools).

Secondly, the result of doing calculation orally means the concentration power has improved which will help in the
overall ability of child.

Abacus has been made a compulsory subject in primary schools in China and Japan. Complete research and analysis
have shown great improvement and better mental ability in students of these countries due to increased
concentration by learning Abacus since childhood under primary education.

VEDIC MATHS
With Vedic mathematics we make children play with numbers. Students are given to perform one SUM with so many
tricks. This helps them trigger their brain, think innovatively and so creating an interest in playing with numbers, i.e.
Maths, thus removing the phobia of Maths.

The simplicity of Vedic Mathematics means that calculations can be carried out mentally. There are many
advantages in using a flexible system. Children can reinvent their own methods, as they are not restricted to do one
method. This leads to more creativity and interest among children. Time and again, Vedic Mathematics has proved
to be the only way to make modern Maths simpler and easier.

The Vedic Maths program is not related to concentration or brain development. Vedic Maths is derived from our
“Atharva Veda”. There are 16 sutras on which the whole Vedic maths revolves , Vedic Maths is being used for the
last so many years at the entrance level after the 12th class. We had discussions with many eminent mathematicians
as to why vedic maths is being used for the benefit of students after class 12 when 70% of the students drop maths
after class 10. The remaining 30% students who opt for maths are already good in maths. So we have started the
vedic maths programme in schools for students of classes 6 to 9. The idea is to remove the phobia of maths by
making them realize how interesting the subject is.

The difference between the children scoring good and average marks in Maths is only the phobia of maths and not
that the child does not know maths. If the child of class 6 after doing Vedic Maths says Yes! Math is easy, then the
child’s interest towards conventional maths increases and it helps in removing phobia of Maths.
