i. This paper consists only with total of seven (7) questions.


ii. Answer a total of five 5 questions. Questions number one (1) is compulsory.
iii. Each question carries twenty (20) marks.
iv. Cellular phones are not allowed in the examination room.
v. Write your examination number on every page of your booklets.

1. Historically experience show that states require considerable mobilization of manpower
resources in Morden socioeconomic development thus need concrete strategies to put into
practice. With six points explain how Tanzania is implementing the program.
2. African population is rising rapidly and will most likely double its population by 2050 and
demographers said that, it will be the prospect of African continent. Support the argument
with eight points.

3. Sao Hill is a cornerstone for the ecosystem of pines, eucalyptus and cypress. Give eight
points describe the challenges facing the forest plantation.

4. Agriculture is a back born of more than 75% of Tanzanian, assess the contribution of
plantation farming in Morogoro and Tanga region. Give eight points.
5. Power cutting are becoming increasingly common in Tanzania, and tend to distress both
socio-economic affairs in our country. Basing on your level of education on sustainable use
of power, suggest six way to adopt to rescue the situation
6. Africa is an expensive place for airlines to do business. Having the right fleet strategy, access
to finance and a harmonised regulatory system are all crucial for air transport to develop.
Describe eight factors that bound the growth of the industry.
7. With increased overfishing practises and without sustainable management many stocks are
reduced to below acceptable levels. With six measures to conserve fish for future.
