I would like to present myself as an alive, hardworking, confident and self-made person. As a
kid I was attracted to the Mobile games and wanted to make them. With every passing year, I
recognized that my profession would be around the area that deals with evolution of new era.
My interest for creating new designs with different techniques and broaden my knowledge of
creativity led me to select Computer Science & Engineering as my field of higher studies. By
every passing year I have developed interest to do Masters in Computer Science. So, in order
to achieve greater heights in my life I am planning to do Masters in Computer Science.

Education:

I have completed my Under-graduation in Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer science

and Engineering from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, India. I
have secured the CGPA of 7.05. I have completed my Intermediate in Narayana Junior
College with 94.3%. I have completed S.S.C in Sri Viswasanth English Medium High
School with 9.5 CGPA. I have been fascinated in the field of Computer Science and have
always cherished the goal of qualifying myself as a software engineer. I consider this as an
appropriate time to pursue with my further academic career as I have gained considerable
knowledge in the industry as well as build myself financially stable to meet the expenses for
my educational and living expenses in the future.

Technical Skills:

I learned C Programming, Java, HTML, C++ & Python. Through these courses I have gained
programming and problem-solving skills. Apart from my curriculum, I joined in Career
Advancement Program which was organized by Computer Science department and Placements
Assistance team of our institute. I am proficient in MS-Word, MS-office and MS-PowerPoint.
Why not India?

Being a citizen of India, I love my country but the facts about the educational system cannot be
denied. Indian educational system mainly emphasises on the theoretical part rather than the
practical approach. It still follows the old educational techniques and the syllabus is not
updated unlike in foreign countries. It does not make a student ready for work environment
which the student strives for. Moreover, the reservation system in India pulls it back as the
most eligible student from a general category may miss his chance for admission when
compared to a student with less percentage with a reservation. Most of the universities lack
good infrastructure and internship programs unlike universities in foreign countries. In doing
so, the students can attain an experience and increase their knowledge and skills during their
internships. India lags behind in research facilities. With the concept of Globalization and
outsourcing becoming popular, old-fashioned system of education in India requires undergoing
some radical changes.

Why USA?

I want to complete my “Master of Science in Computer Science” I feel that USA is the right
place for me to continue my study because of its course curriculum, experienced faculty, and
good infrastructure. I would like to mention few points that made me to prompt USA as my
study destination.

• USA is having one of the best education systems which provides with some of the
world’s best facilities, educators and quality study options.
• USA is a one of the safest countries, friendly, sophisticated and harmonious society in
which students can learn and travel.
• USA is more affordable than most other destinations and offers a high standard of

they offer is correspondingly high.
• One of the most appealing aspects of the country for international students is the quality
of education and the scientific research, that’s the reason USA is at the forefront of new
technology and innovations. Students who choose to study in USA can take advantage

• Finally, from my knowledge I conclude that USA is a dynamic and vibrant country with

Why Kennesaw State University :

Therefore, I would like to apply for the Master of Science Information Studies at the
esteemed Kennesaw State University . I highly believe this program is extremely suitable to
my academic and industrial background and selected Computer Science as the field of
specialization at Graduate level due to my passion on software coding, design, development,
maintenance/operation of information systems. These are reasons which have further
encouraged me to pursue further studies in Advanced Computer Science in cloud computing to
enhance my knowledge and assuring me of a challenging future. Studying at Kennesaw State
University , I wish to gain the international study experience in a magnanimous University
which offers High Quality Facilities, Teaching and Research, whilst learning to adopt to a new
environment in a new country. I am confident that this will expose myself to different
experiences and challenges to broaden my educational experiences, gaining knowledge and
insights to live in a multicultural society which would be possible studying at Kennesaw State
University .

Why Masters of Science in Computer Science:

It is virtually impossible to go out into the world today and not see the effects that technology
has had on our lives. As the capabilities of computer and similar technology continue to grow,
the code we use to develop and control technology will also need to undergo changes and
innovation. Build technological leadership in analysis, design, development,
maintenance/operation of information systems. As a self-taught programmer, I developed an
interest in designing software early in my life, and it has been my passion ever since. I am

absolutely curious to know how the program developed a serious interest in computers,
prompted me to choose engineering with Computer Science as my major. This decision gave
me ample opportunity to consolidate my creative energies and harness my technical aptitude.
Being a Computer Science student, pursuing masters in Computer Science will be benefit, early
in my undergraduate study I was introduced to basic programming languages of C, C++ and
Java. I understood the key features of every language and realized that one was an
improvement of the opposite. I was fascinated by the concepts of Domain, Active Directory,
Group Policy and DNS. These interests make me to choose Computer Science.

Career Goals:

Having international experience added to my resume will attract a lot of employers when I
return to India and start looking for jobs, as employers want to add skilled employees to their
team with international experience. I may also be given an opportunity to work overseas
because of my international working experience. I will be benefited from a range of
experience- based learning opportunities, including overseas study. Coming back to my home
country is my utmost priority as I have my parents, my heritage family Assets back in my
home country and also India is one of the top promising highly upgrading countries and I
would be no less in pool full of national degree holders instead I will be the one standing out
as I will have international degree and international work experience. The degree from USA
and Computer Science Computer Science field will not only develop my personal skills.
Masters from a good institute will help me to grow appreciably, including the ability to work
as an effective team member, to lead others, and to be effective in interpersonal relationships
through communication, presentation, self-confidence, negotiation skills, I would like to join
public or reputed private companies like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Knoah, Waaree Group,
Grey matter India Technologies,So, I am very confident that I will learn many things from
USA which will very helpful to execute in my country and the main intention to do my
Masters to set my career in my desired field. In a survey it was found that more than 90% of
graduates are fully employed and I believe that it will be best option to make my future bright.

Conclusion:

So, I humbly request that I am very devoted and serious when it comes to studies and I believe
that the opportunity to study and graduate in USA would bring me good beneficial results.
