The knowledge area of requirements life cycle management involves five tasks that a

business analyst needs to perform: trace requirements, maintain requirements,

prioritise requirements, asses requirements changes, and approve requirements.

The project management life cycle has five main phases. These are project
initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring and control and
project closure.

Identify stakeholders.
Gather/elicit requirements.
Analyze requirements.
Specify/document requirements.
Baseline requirement groups (verify, validate, and prioritize requirements- i.e.:
agree and sign-off on requirements)
Communicate requirements.
Monitor/track requirements.

Requirements management is the process of how companies define, manage, verify, and
validate ideas and meet stakeholder needs at every step of the product lifecycle
beginning as early as idea creation through product development and
commercialization.

What is an example of requirement management?

Examples include diagrams, and models, integrated set of needs, set of product
requirements, use cases, design documents, testing plans and procedures.

Confluence is a platform-independent approach and can simply run anywhere.
