When installaing a new APT file into the APC (TCU), it is very important to do the steps in the correct
order.
First, make sure you have configured your USB-RS232 adapter, see instruction “USB-RS232 adapter
config.pdf”, this is needed to get the communication to work between your lap top and the APC.
Make sure you got the correct APT file, correct firmware and XML file available. See information
further down.
First thing you need to do when installing the new APT file is to “flash” the controller so the correct
firmware is installed together with the APT file. When flashing the controller, the firmware will be
installed automatically. See instruction “Dana Dashboard_firmware_load.pdf” for a step by step
instruction how to perform the flash of the controller.
When the controller got the correct firmware (as is done in the previous step) you are ready to install
the APT file. Please read instruction “Install APT file.pdf” for a step by step instruction how to install
the new APT file.
When the new APT file is installed, the last step is to perform a transmission calibration. See
instruction “TE32 calibration mode.pdf” to get information to perform a calibration.
