Methodology K9 Participants/Sampling Procedure

The researcher composed of 7 mothers and 5 fathers, not married to


each other, who were living in Malatya, Turkey in 2016. All parents’ child
or children were playing digital
games. Total number of 12 participants was enough for having
saturation in the results.

Data Gathering Procedure

The data for this study was collected in 2016 using semi-structured
interviews with parents.
Before the interview, the purpose of the study was briefly explained to
the participants. The questions
in the information form were asked to the parents and the answers were
audio-recorded.

Data Analysis Procedure

After the completion of the data collection, the participants were


attributed alphanumeric codes as E1, E2, …,
E12 and inductive analysis was conducted.
