ENGAGE:

1) Idea - Begin the lesson by asking the students to brainstorm different ways they
can organize information. Write their responses on the whiteboard.

2) Idea - Show the students a short video clip or image related to a current event and
ask them to brainstorm different ways they can gather and organize information
about it.

Activity 1: Creating a Brainstorming List

Materials: Chart paper, markers

Significance: This activity will allow students to practice generating ideas and
organizing them in a brainstorming list.

Instructions:

1) Divide the class into small groups.

2) Assign each group a topic related to 21st Century Literature.

to their assigned topic.

4) Each group will present their brainstorming list to the class.
