1. KC applied in XYZ Company and successfully pass their requirements. She is scientifically

ACTIVITY NO. 2
Looking back on the scenario in Activity 1, answer the following questions below.

1. What are the Labor laws and rights involve in Jojo’s case? Justify your answer.
 Jojo Santos may have labor rights related to due process, protection against unjust
termination, and rights to personal belongings, and he has sought assistance from his
labor union after being terminated without proper explanation or investigation by the
company.
2. If you were Jojo’s supervisor, what do you think is the best way to handle the situation? Is
termination the best solution? Elaborate your answer.
 If I were Jojo's supervisor, I would handle the situation by conducting a thorough
investigation into the incident, taking consideration of company policies, giving Jojo due
process, exploring less severe disciplinary actions before considering termination, as it
should be the last option, ensuring fairness and compliance with labor laws and
regulations.
3. If you were Jojo Santos, what are you going to do upon receiving your termination? Give a
detailed action plan.
 If I were Jojo Santos, I would speak with HR, gather information, speak with a labor
union or legal counsel, be aware of my rights, and put my personal wellbeing first.

ACTIVITY NO. 3

Can you identify whether the person is an employee or an employer?

Employee 1. Allen works as a manager for over year in MGC Company. He decides where to
assign the newly hired in the production area.
Employee 2. Jessie got hired as an announcer in KBC Production. She is still considered as a
trainee for 6 months.
Employee 3. Hannie works as an HR assistant for 7 months. She is always supporting in the
hiring process of the company.
Employer 4. From small business, John was able to manage his own business to become a
well-known corporation in the industry.
Employee and 5. Karen is working as an Accountant. She plays an important role in Holland
possibly Company while she is also working in her own Accounting Firm. Karen and
Employer Holland Company came up their own agreement and arrangement in working as
an Accountant.
