Short bones: Cube-shaped and provide support and stability (e.g.,
carpals, tarsals) (2 marks)
Flat bones: Thin, flattened bones that protect internal organs (e.g.,
skull, ribs) (2 marks)
Irregular bones: Have complex shapes and provide support and
