Performance Task 3
Keeping a daily reflection journal.
Reflection journals are personal accounts or records of all your learning experiences. These are
your insights and learnings gained in the teaching-learning processes. These are records of events
which are pleasant or unpleasant that you can reflect on and learn from. It can help you assess
the important learning events that happened in your teaching which can direct you to improve
your professional career. Your reflection briefly summarizes your ideas, thoughts, feelings and
emotions which will lead you to analyze and improve your decisions and actions. You need to
write your reflection regularly to motivate you to learn and enjoy the process of learning.
As you move on with your task as a Practice Teacher, you need to write your daily reflection
journal.
You may snow start writing your reflection.

Reflection journals have always seemed like a personal diary for learning, a record of triumphs
and struggles. Today, however, I see them as a powerful tool for professional growth.

This concept truly resonated during my introduction to the role of a practice teacher. Witnessing
a seasoned educator navigate the classroom firsthand was invaluable. It highlighted the
importance of creating a space that fosters participation and ignites a love for learning.

The day wasn't without its challenges. It exposed areas where I can refine my teaching style,
particularly in tailoring it to students' needs and crafting clear, accessible language.
However, these challenges fuel my motivation. Keeping a reflection journal feels like the key to
unlocking this growth potential. By capturing these experiences, analyzing them, and learning
from them, I can continuously improve my teaching practice.

This journey promises to be a tapestry woven with successes and setbacks. My reflection journal
will be the thread that binds it all together, allowing me to learn and evolve as a teacher. I'm
excited to embark on this path of self-discovery and witness the impact it has on both myself and
my students.
