MxNet module Part no.: 904877

Functional module for use in all design variants of the
fire detection series FMZ 5000, as well as mimic panels and
operating panels.
Allows devices to be connected in a line-redundant loop
network. Communication with the connected devices takes
place via a serial interface in RS-232 standard.
All data lines are continuously monitored. In the event of
line faults in the network, line redundancy means that the
functions of the devices are not affected.
The module is supplied with power by the networked device.

Product features Application

• Communication to the networked devices uses The module enables a device to communicate with other
the MX2 protocol in all versions devices in a loop network. The signals from the devices
can be displayed at several central control points. Likewise,
• Up to 32 devices can be networked in a ring
commands to the devices are possible from different points in
• No adjustment work is required the network and from outside the network (control stations).
For each network participant a module required.
