User Guide: FT ECU Bench Flashing Kit

If you have not yet done so, please visit the


FTECU Inc. Interactive Quick-Start Guide to get
you started. https://ftecu.com/quickstart/

Once you have logged into the Tuning Suite


with your registered kit and have your tune
file set, to flash your ECU, do the following.

Step 1: Remove components to expose your fuel


injection ECU, ECU connectors and battery
terminals

Step 2: Connect the Data-Link USB to your computer.

Data-Link USB. Then connect the wall mounted

power supply to the Bench Flashing Harness. m

Note: When going through the writing or
reading process it is very important to follow
the software prompts carefully. You will be
ai

asked to disconnect and reconnect the Bench


Flashing Harness. (See Fig1 & Fig2). When
prompted you will need to disconnect and

reconnect the Bench Flashing Harness from the


ECU only. Do not disconnect from the Data-
Link USB or wall mounted power supply during
the writing process.

Step 3: Once the writing process has completed you


will receive a ‘Write Successful! You may

disconnect’ message, at this time you can


disconnect from the ECU.

Step 4: Install the ECU back into your bike and have fun
