1. Activity To give you a glimpse of our PPT and

divided into 4 groups.
• I have here a list of
statements, and you
have to identify them
by writing your
answers on the board.
• Each group must have
a representative for
each round and they
will be the ones to
write the answer on
the board.
• I will read the
statements and the
group will have to
discuss their answers
on their respective
area.
• The representative
then will go to the
board and will write
their answer after I
say, “Go!”.
• The representative
that will finish writing
their correct answer
first will receive a
point.

Are the instructions clear? Crystal Clear!

Alright. Let’s start! (Students will do the activity.)

Statements:

3. Abstraction We will now go deeper and PPT and
discuss about Navigating a Projector
Website Using Essential
Features.

Gathering information from the

internet has become a part of
everyday life.
You browse websites to search
for answers to your
assignments. You watch
videos on YouTube to be
updated about your favorite
vlogger. You open your social
media account to get the latest
news feeds and messages
from your friends and loved
ones.
Indeed, almost everything is
within the click of the finger.
Hence, this lesson will help
you to use headings and links
on websites so that searching
topics and information will be
easy, fast, and reliable.
I have here the steps to guide
you in checking facts online.
Everyone, please read. Steps to guide you in
checking facts online.
✓ Watch out for false
content.
✓ Check the source.
✓ Separate fact from
opinion.
✓ Look at how the
story’s being told.
✓ Use fact-checking
tools.
So, if you're visiting an online
site for the first time or
downloading a new app, ask
these five questions:
1. Who ran or created the

The WH-Question ‘Who’ is
being used to ask about a
person, right? You must know
the creator of the site or app

into trouble.
Yes, Ma’am!
For example, you may ask,

right?

2. What is the site or app

promising or offering? Are
the claims too good to be
true?
When you use the WH-
Question ‘What’, you are
asking about a thing. This
question refers to the benefits
a user can get or receive
before using the site or app.

For example, what did Ma’am, it offers informative

raising your hand. Do you want 4. Where does the
to read number 4? information come from?
Is it based on scientific
research?
The WH-Question ‘Where’ is
being used to ask about a
place. But in this case, a place
can be the name of a website.

For example, I saw an I think it came from the

information that says “School Department of Education.
will be opening on June 28,
2024, and ending on May 16,
2025”. Where do you think this
information came from?

Very good. Because the

Department of Education is the
one in charge of our
educational system.

Question number 4 is simply

asking about the source or the
reference of the information.

But this question may also be

interpreted as asking for a
literal place.

For example, I saw information We can find the best

that says “The United States of education system in the

education system in the world.”
So, where can we find the best
education system?
Did you understand, class? Yes, Ma’am.

And lastly, everyone, please 5. Why does the site or app

something?
You will use the WH-Question
“Why” to ask about a reason.

Class, why do you think They created Google

Sergey Brin and Larry Page because they wanted to have
created Google? a website that would help a
student like me in
researching for my studies.
Yes, it can be one of their
many reasons. Using the WH-
Question “Why” simply means
asking for an explanation
about something.

Do you have questions so far? None, Ma’am.

Okay, let’s proceed with our

discussion.

Looking at the URL or address

of the website will already give
you insights on whether the
information contents are
valuable or not. So, you should
also check the domain name
of the site.

Take note of the following

extension at the end of the
