and amplitude (Code: S7LT-IIId-7)
Specific Objectives
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
1. demonstrate how sound is produced;
2. use the concepts of wavelength, velocity, and amplitude to
describe characteristics of sound such as pitch, loudness and
quality;
3. Identify factors that affect the pitch and loudbess of the sound
produced.

E. Application
“CREATE TO BE SAVE”
In this present time, environmental
problems are one of the major disasters
that affect our community. To inform
everybody on the coming disaster, create loud
sounds from different things in order to
produce sound with larger amplitude, longer
wavelength and faster velocity. As student, we
must be prepared in order to make ourselves
and others safe. What are those things or
object that can be used as an early
warning device considering a loud sound must
be produced.
F. Evaluation
Identification
Directions: identify the following asked
questions.
1. It is regarded as the most wonderful musical
instrument produced by humans. 1. Human Voice
2. These are the sounds whose frequencies are 2. Intrasound
lower than 20 Hz. 3. 20-20,000
3. The audible range that humans can hear is 4. Noise pollution
about _________ Hz. 5. Ultrasound
4. It is defined as unwanted or damaging sound
that includes hearing loss, stress, sleep loss and
etc.
5. Sounds with frequencies higher than 20 000
Hz are called ____.
