COLOUR:

Due to the phenomenon of different curing, slight colour and shade variations may occur in individual coloured
concrete products. Site conditions, seasonal manufacture or naturally occurring variations in the aggregates used,
can also cause variations. This is generally considered to enhance the natural stone effect and the colours will
invariably weather in time.

Variations in the colour consistency of paving blocks can be caused by unavoidable variations in the shade and
properties of the raw materials and by variations in hardening.

Note: Color Blending - Paving units shall be installed from a minimum of 3 bundles simultaneously drawing the
paver vertically rather than horizontally. (Color variation occurs with all concrete products. This phenomenon is
influenced by a variety of factors, e.g. moisture content, curing conditions, different aggregates and, most commonly,
from different production runs.) By installing from a minimum of three bundles simultaneously, variation in color is
dispersed and blended throughout the project.

EFFLORESCENCE:

Efflorescence is a whitish powder- like deposit that sometimes appears on concrete products.All concrete products
may undergo the temporary phenomenon of efflorescence. This is notdetrimental to the product performance in
any way the Product cannot be held accountable for itsoccurrence. This will generally stabilize over a period of time.

Efflorescence isn’t Deleterious to the mechanical & physical Performance of paving Blocks there cannot be a renewed
occurrence of this effect after the efflorescence have subsided. It is thus not recommendable to exchange the
products or take other measures against efflorescence.

Efflorescence shall not be a cause for rejection.

UNLOADING

Before the vehicles are unloaded, a representative of the customer needs to verify whether the quantity and the
type of product have been correctly delivered. Customers who collect the products themselves need to come to the
factory when the products are l oaded into the vehicles and verify there whether the load is in accordance with the
order resp. the delivery note.

If there are doubts regarding the quality, the laying must not commence before all points have been clarified.
If, during the acceptance pr ocedure, the blocks are deemed to suffer from defects so that the reliability or acceptability
of the product are called into question the person in charge of the laying has to take a decision whether the product
is accepted or not. He has to take this dec ision either on his own account or after immediately conferring with the
client. In case the product is rejected, the deliverer has to be informed immediately.

NOTE: Should a product reach you in an unsatisfactory condition, and other than a naturally occurring one as
described herein, the defect would have to be apparent prior to laying. Any deviations and defects to be informed
and notified to the supplier, allowing time for the rejected product to be replaced. If the complaint is raised after
laying the product, no responsibility will be accepted for any relaying or removing costs.

DIMENSIONS

Variation in the Dimensions of the Paving block can happen due to different production elements, but as long the
variation is within the tolerance limits of 3+mm for thickness & 1.6+ for width & length it will have no effect on the
installation level or appearance .

OPTION 2# SIZES

Al Sultan Pavers are manufacture in accordance with the International standards which allows a tolerance of + 3 mm
for the Thickness of the Manufactured pavers. This variation wont effect the finished surface level & appearance after
installation & compaction.

a Plate-glide -device (Polyurethane mat) shall be used to protect paving stones.

During installation, Rubber hammer has to be used and not metal hammer.
