Guidelines on Asia Pacific Employee Referral Program – Hong Kong

The Program

Invesco Employee Referral Program

Invesco recognizes that whenever possible, it is in the best interests of the company and our employees to
contribute to the success of Invesco by referring qualified candidates for employment. The Invesco Employee
Referral Program encourages employees to make quality referrals by providing a lump sum payment to the
referring employee once a referred candidate becomes employed on a full time permanent basis by the
organization.

Eligible referrals include individuals who have not already been referred by another recruiting source and who are
hired for positions on the Invesco payroll.

Invesco Internal and External Posting

Generally, open positions are posted on the Careers@Invesco site, which is accessible through the Career & Life
site on Invesco's intranet, for employees. The same positions will also be posted externally under the Asia Pacific
portal in the Careers section of the website (www.invesco.com). Employees are encouraged to refer qualified
candidates. All referring candidates must submit their application and CV by applying online in the career section.
Referrer’s full name and email address must be included in the application for the referrer to be eligible for the
incentive reward.

Referral Award

Upon successful of the hire, referrer will be eligible for an incentive award in cash payable in 2 installments – 50%
of award to be paid on completion of probation of the referral hired, remaining 50% of award to be paid on
completion of one year of the referral hired.

Tiers of Award that can be considered – HK titles are used in the below for reference:
• Director and above level hire – US$8,000
• Associate Director level hire – US$4,000
• Senior Manager and below hire – US$2,000

Remarks:
- The incentive award amount will be relevant to the market practice of respective local country.
- The above are subject to individual income tax as applicable to the Income Taxation rules and
regulations as accordingly to their local country.
- The Referrer must be employee of Invesco at time of receiving payment of the award.
- While we expect changes to be infrequent, Invesco reserves the right to change the reward amount
based on economic environments, local job markets, and/or business needs.

Eligibility

All Invesco employees are eligible to participate with the following exceptions:
• Department Heads, director-level or above
• Members of the Human Resources department
• Non-employees who are working on assignment with Invesco on any kind of contract, consulting or
temporary basis

Exceptions

Instances that do not qualify for a referral award include referrals of the following:

• Former employee of Invesco being rehired


• Former non-employee/ temporary who is hired as an employee

• Candidate who was presented to Invesco from another source prior to the referral
• Referrals of immediate relatives (i.e. spouse, parent, sibling (including adopted or step), and children
(including adopted and step), and anyone living in the household).
• Supervisors and Managers referring individuals to be hired within their own cost centers, and other
employees who are involved in the hiring decision
• Employees referring individuals who are current employees of Invesco or Joint-venture of Invesco, globally

Life span of referral

If a referred candidate is not hired within 1 year of the date of referral, the referral is considered closed. The
referring employee will no longer be eligible to receive the referral award if the candidate is hired in the future.

Referral procedures

For the referring employee to receive credit for the referral and be eligible for the incentive payment, Human
Resources must have received notice of the referral from the candidate, as part of the application process, prior to
the individual being considered for employment.

All candidates referred by an employee will receive equal consideration without regard to race, creed, color,
national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, citizenship status, or any other
consideration made unlawful by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
