4.1. Description of first aid measures

General information First aid personnel should wear appropriate protective equipment during any rescue. Place
unconscious person on their side in the recovery position and ensure breathing can take
place. Get medical attention if symptoms are severe or persist. Remove contaminated
clothing. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Inhalation Move affected person to fresh air and keep warm and at rest in a position comfortable for
breathing. If breathing stops, provide artificial respiration. When breathing is difficult, properly
trained personnel may assist affected person by administering oxygen. It may be dangerous
for first aid personnel to carry out mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Get medical attention if any
discomfort continues.

Revision date: 19/07/2020 Version number: 7.000 Supersedes date: 08/12/2019

DOWCLENE 3670 COLD CLEANER AIII

Ingestion Move affected person to fresh air and keep warm and at rest in a position comfortable for
breathing. Avoid vomiting and stomach flushing because of the risk of aspiration. Do not
induce vomiting. Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. Get medical attention immediately.

Skin contact After contact with skin, take off immediately all contaminated clothing, and wash immediately
with plenty of water. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Eye contact Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids wide
apart. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if any discomfort
continues.

4.2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Ingestion May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

Skin contact Prolonged contact may cause dryness of the skin. Repeated exposure may cause skin
dryness or cracking.

Eye contact May cause temporary eye irritation.

4.3. Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Notes for the doctor Treat symptomatically. If in doubt, get medical attention promptly.
