Learning Competency:  Identify the various elements, techniques, and literary

devices in specific forms of poetry.
 Write a short poem applying the various elements and
literary devices exploring innovative techniques.

I. Objective At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to;
a. distinguish the different types of techniques and
literary devices in poetry;
b. recognize the importance techniques and literary
devices through a group activity and;
c. write a short poem integrating the elements,
techniques, and literary devices of a of a poetry.
