Questionnaires For Situational Mapping (Obj 1-4)

This document provides guidance for conducting interviews to assess malaria surveillance gaps at the township level in Myanmar. The interviews aim to understand performance, context/infrastructure, technology/processes, and behaviors related to malaria surveillance. The expected outputs are a technical brief and situational mapping report. Digital Square will develop recommendations based on identified gaps, facilitate prioritization of recommendations, and support development of a subnational action plan to address gaps. The overall goal is to inform strengthening of malaria surveillance at the township level to support progress toward elimination.

Township Level Situational Mapping

(Malaria)

Language Guidance

This interview aims to understand the current surveillance gaps in the existing malaria
surveillance system and learn best practices amongst in-country implementing partners
and key stakeholders at the township level by assessing four areas: performance,
context and infrastructure, technology and processes, and behavior. The expected
outputs of this interview are a technical brief and situational mapping report. Digital
Square will first develop recommendations based on the identified gaps and then
facilitate the prioritization of those recommendations based on the importance and
feasibility through collaboration with NMCP and key stakeholders (e.g., NMCP, URC,
ARC, PSI, MNMA, etc.). Additionally, Digital Square will also facilitate to develop of a
specific subnational action plan that addresses the gaps and incorporates the prioritized
recommendations. These outputs will better inform surveillance system strengthening at
the township level and support the journey toward malaria elimination.
