1.0 USER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:


1.1 Privilege Group Information:
1.1.1 Privilege group creation shall be defined as per Privilege Right Matrix.
Type of privilege groups are mentioned below:
1. Admin : For administrative purpose.
2. Master : For data review purpose.
3. General : To perform day-to-day activities.

2.0 SECURITY POLICY SETTINGS:


2.1 The security policy settings as mentioned below:

1) Login ID must be min. 5 characters and max. 10 characters.


2) Password Must Meet complexity requirement, Min. 8 & Max.12 Characters using one
capital letter, one small letter, one numeric letter and one special character for New
Password and Confirm Password.
3) Password expiry period 1-365 days, To be set user wise at the time of user account
creation. It should be 90 days.
4) User account will be locked after 3 times wrong password attempts.
5) Password History: System not allow user to use last 5 password.
6) System not allow to create duplicate user id.
3.0 USER CREATION:
3.1 Open the “Stability Control System” application:

3.2 Enter the Administrator user ID and password for login.

3.3 After successful login Click on “Admin” menu and then click on “User Master”.

3.4 After clicking on “User Master”, User Master screen will open.
Click on icon for new user creation.

3.5 Enter User detail, select required role, Password expiry day “90 days”, After entering all
details in respective fields click on button to create user. Default password will be
“Operator” and during first time login, software will ask for change password.
Employee ID will be User ID. (e.g., If User Employee ID is 12345 then User Id will be
created as 12345).

3.6 After create user, go to “Admin” menu and click on “Assign Chambers”.

3.7 After clicking on “Assign Chambers” below mentioned, “Assign Chambers” screen will be
opened.

3.8 In “Assign Chambers” screen select newly created user from “User” list to assign chamber
for access.
3.9 After selecting user, assign chamber to user and then click on button.
4.0 ACTIVATION AND PASSWORD RESET OF USER ID:
4.1 To activate or password reset of the user, Click “Admin” menu and then click on “User
Master”.
4.2 In “User Master” screen search for user which need to activate/password reset.

4.3 After searching and select user click on button.

4.4 Then click on “Reset Password” button for password reset of user and then after click on
button to save the changes. Default password will be “Operator” after password reset.
5.0 CHANGE THE USER ACCESS LEVEL GROUP:
5.1 To change user role, open “User Master” screen.
5.2 In “User Master” screen search for user which user role need to change.

5.3 After searching and select user click on button

5.4 Select required role from Role list to change user role.
5.5 Then after click on button to save the changes.
6.0 DEACTIVATE THE USER ID:
6.1 Deactivate the user when user left the organization.

6.2 To deactivate user, click “Admin” menu and then click on “User Master”

6.3 In “User Master” screen search for user need to deactivate.


6.4 After searching and select user click on button.

6.5 Click on “Valid To” textbox and then select the date from which user require to deactivate and
then after click on button to save the changes.
