To play, you will need the Everline: Core Rules version 1.2 or newer.
6 Steps to Start Playing:
Step 1: Select a pre-made character or create your custom character from the Character
Creation Section in the Core Rules. To create a character pick a Race & Class of your
choice. Combine both Race & Class Base Stats to form your Character’s Base Stats.
Step 2: Next, fill your Character’s Value (Mind, Spirit, Power, Finesse) by adding the
stats under each value, creating a single number. For example, if your character has a
Strength of 10 and an Endurance of 8, combine those 2 stats to get a Power Value of 18.
Step 3: Now it’s time to determine if your character’s Values are Strong, Neutral, or
Weak. To do this, refer to the table below and write something the character believes in
for each Value.

Step 5: Encounter: When you land on an Encounter, you’ll be faced with two tables.
Each table contains an encounter die, two supported stats, a reward, & flavor text.
Select one stat from your character sheet to resolve the chosen Encounter.
• Step 5.1 Battle Encounters marked with a flag icon require you to defeat them
before moving on to the next Encounter. To defeat the Battle Encounter, roll as
normal. The enemy’s HP is determined by the die number in the Encounter Table.
When you roll higher than the enemy, reduce the enemy’s HP by the difference
between the enemy roll and your roll. Keep rolling until the enemy’s HP is reduced
to zero or less.
• Step 5.2 Alternatively, instead of rolling 1 die to resolve an encounter. You can use
all stats within a single Value to resolve an encounter, just roll both the dice in
that Value against the encounter’s roll, no need to add Drawbacks. (However, if
during the campaign, you decide to use the Value to roll 2 dice and lose, the value’s
tier will drop, going from Strong > Neutral > Weak and Vice Versa.)
Step 6: Resolving an Encounter: If your roll is higher than the Encounter’s roll, you win
& collect any rewards listed in the form of treasure chests/ victory points (VP). If your
roll is lower, take damage by comparing the difference. If tie, reroll with another stat.
Game End: The game ends if you run out of HP or when your roll takes you off the end
of the Encounter List. Count your VP to see your score!

Special Moves:
1. STAMINA: You can perform Special Moves with STA. Use as consumable.
1.1 You can use 1 STA to reroll a die or
1.2 Trigger your character’s skill (according to the STA required) or
1.3 Pay 2 STA to recover SS’s dice tier from SC.
Additional Information:
• Value : Your character sheet includes Values that categorized Stats into Sets of
Mind, Spirit, Power, and Finesse. Include short sentence describing your character.
• A Stat with a Value that is positively written description adds a +1 and vice versa
for Value that is negatively written. Neutral text is equal to 0.
• Value roll: Use all the stats within a single Value to resolve an encounter, just roll
all the dice for stats within the selected Value against the encounter’s roll. (not
required to add Drawbacks.)
• Based on the roll, you may need to change the short sentence that describes your
character’s stance on a given value positively or negatively. You many have strong
stats but a negative Value due to the result from using Value Roll.
• Drawback (DB): If you choose to use a stat that is not listed on the Encounter table,
you will need to add a d4 to the roll. Deduct the Drawback roll from your roll before
comparing it with the Encounter’s roll.
• Stat Chaining (SC): You cannot use the same stat for the next Encounter. If a
player uses the same stat they used in the previous Encounter, all the stats within
that Value will drop to a lower dice tier. E.g: from D12 to D10. Applies to Value roll.
• SC Cooldown and Recovery: Using the same stat in quick succession before the
cooldown is over will cause the entire Set’s dice tier to drop. Recovery will take one
Encounter Move to recover for every tier dropped. E.g: from D6 to D8.

Raoul Steuan was a young villager boy who lived on the outskirts of town. He was a
bit of an oddball. Despite his impressive muscles, Raoul was not one to boast about
his strength, preferring instead to focus on his shortcomings.
Raoul had always been fascinated by the druidic arts, and had decided to pursue
his passion by becoming a druid trainee. He spent his days collecting herbs and
studying the ways of the druidic magic. However, Raoul quickly realized that being
a druid was not as easy as he had thought.
Despite his best efforts, Raoul found himself struggling to master the intricacies of
druidic magic. He is mediocre, and was constantly working to improve his skills.
But no matter how hard he tried, Raoul just couldn’t seem to get the hang of it.
Despite his struggles, Raoul refused to give up. He knew that with time and practice,
he would eventually achieve his goal of becoming a powerful druid. And so, he
continued to collect herbs and study the ways of the druidic magic.

childhood experimenting with herbs and potions in her parents’ garden. But her
dream was to become a true alchemist, to be able to create powerful potions and
elixirs that could change the world.
One day, an old alchemist came to the village, seeking a trainee to assist him in his
work. Elys jumped at the opportunity and was soon on her way to the old man’s
laboratory, located deep in the forest.
The old alchemist was a gruff and grumpy man, but Elys quickly won him over
with her enthusiasm and determination. He taught her everything he knew about
alchemy, including how to extract the essence of plants, how to mix and brew
potions, and how to use alchemy to create powerful magical items.
Elys was a quick learner and soon became the old man’s right-hand assistant. She
was proud of her new skills and couldn’t wait to put them to the test.

When you find an item or equipment you’re interested in, take a look at the Item
Oracle to see its capabilities and bonuses. The Item Oracle will also show you how
many Victory Points (VP) the item or equipment is worth. You can use your VP to
buy or sell items and equipment at the marketplace.
Please note that any items or equipment left in your inventory at the end of the
game will not be counted towards your Victory Point calculation. So be sure to
use them wisely and strategically during your adventures!
