Understanding the System
Why does Glorious Hope have a system?
- Everything has been done manually ever since Glorious Hope
began. This project started this year to lessen paper-use and
ease the stress caused by frequent transferring of files like
attendance, evaluation sheets, and the like. With the hopes of
making files and records more accessible, Glorious Hope’s
online system was created.
Things to remember:
1. The Glorious Hope System is being manned by less than five
volunteers. Please be patient if it takes a while before you
receive feedback or a response for your queries and concerns.
2. Everything you find when you access your account should only
be yours. This means that you cannot share your account with
anyone else.
3. You will be given access to the Glorious Hope workbooks and
lesson videos when you have an account. These materials are
for your eyes only. Sharing of the video links is strictly
prohibited. This is the same for distributing and sharing the
workbooks. Anyone who does not comply will be penalized.
4. If you encounter any difficulty, please do not hesitate to
contact your life coaches, send a message via our Facebook
page, or send an email to [email protected].

Dashboard
Your dashboard is the first thing you will see when you log in to your
account. The things you see on your dashboard may vary from time to
time depending on what is important. Unfortunately, you do not have
access to changing what is shown on your dashboard. However, rest
assured that the team is making sure that you will be able to easily
access the things you need.
Navigating through the dashboard is easy. Here is a screen capture of
how your dashboard will look like:

Orientation Video
Before starting your 18-week long journey with Glorious Hope, we
urge you to watch the orientation video that can be found once you
have access to your accounts. This orientation video will be accessible
to you from the moment you register until you are assigned to a group.
When you log in to your account you will
always see your dashboard first.
On the left side of your dashboard,
you will find buttons like this
Click on the button that
says, “Orientation Video”
and you will be quickly
redirected to it.
If you click the same button when
the orientation video is no longer
available, the video will not be visible
anymore. Instead, a text saying, “It is no
longer available,” will appear.

Workbooks
Three of the most important things that you will need for this year’s
run are the workbooks. Originally, these workbooks come in hard
copy for it to be easier to write on. However, due to the situation, PDF
copies of the workbooks were made available to you.

As you watch the videos, make sure to fill in the blanks that you will find
in your workbooks. This way, when you do your assignment and need to
review the lesson, you can go back to it immediately. Here’s how the
blanks in your workbooks look like.
Your Discipler Life Coaches will remind you of the viewing period in case
you forget. They can either send you a message through your chosen
mode of communication, or give you the dates during your step study
session. You can also monitor it on your own by checking the schedule
that can be found on your dashboard.
Here’s how the page will look like if the video is not available or you view
it before the viewing period has started or after it has ended:

Glorious Hope Online Guidelines
Online Meeting Guidelines:
The following must be observed by both DLCs and participants.
1. Dress appropriately. Wear a collared shirt (for men) and blouse (for
women).
2. Use earphones or headsets during the online sessions.
3. Enable the “start video” so your group can see you.
4. Stay on “mute” when it’s not your turn to speak and remember to unmute
yourself when it’s your turn to share.
5. Stay in a well-lit area that is free from distractions or background noise.
6. Make sure to allot 2 ½ hours of uninterrupted time during the scheduled
session.
1. The DLCs may use any online platform (Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp,
etc.) for their step study group.
2. The group chat is exclusively for communication and coordination
purposes only for Glorious Hope related concerns.
3. The group chat shall be exclusive only to the group. Adding members
outside the group is not allowed.
4. The group chat is not a venue to discuss answers in the workbooks. It is
also not a venue to post news, devotions, or any chain messages.
5. Non-essential information, which includes, "good mornings/afternoons/
evenings," thumbs up, chit chat, side comments, and the like, should be
avoided.
6. The react button must be used to respond directly to announcements or
messages. Sending the thumbs up is different from reacting to the
message.
7. Messages must only be sent from 9:00AM to 10:30PM (GMT+8) Manila.
8. For sensitive questions, private messages must be sent to the group's
DLCs. The DLCs will communicate with their participants privately.
Should you have any questions, send a message via our Facebook page, or an email to [email protected].
