Gratitude Speech

Ladies and Gentlemen, faculty members, proud parents and my fellow graduates,
Today is one of the most momentous day for us graduates. This is the day we perceive the outcome of our
endeavors and efforts to be here now.

To my teachers who tirelessly taught and disciplined us, I thank you for your patience and goodwill, for they
have led us into a great result. To my classmates who were there to make me laugh and offer a helping hand, I
am thankful to be with you, Copernicus and other classmates I have been with, and to be one of your leaders.
To my best friends who were there with me in every version I had of myself, I’m beyond grateful, because you
have not only given me inspiration, but you guys have also given me fulfilling delectation. To my siblings, I am
really fortunate because of your support and all those times we laughed until our stomachs hurt. To my
parents, who made this possible for me, who gave me the discipline, education and love I needed; I thank you
for all the moments you have given me affection, appreciation and support that I needed. And to all the ones
who were there along the way of my succeeding path, I’m grateful for your support.

As we reflect on our time together, we cannot help but be filled with gratitude for the countless memories we
have shared and the friendships we have made. Our experiences here have not only shaped us academically
but also instilled in us the values of integrity, perseverance, and compassion that will guide us in the years to
come.

As we step into the next phase in our lives, let us embrace the challenges that lie ahead with courage and
determination. We shall encourage one another, inspire and give influence like what we have done. Let us
never lose sight of our dreams and aspirations. But, always remind ourselves to be humble in our successes.

I remember using a quote, “Champions keep playing until they get it right” by Billie Jean King, a tennis player.
I often use this quote to inspire and keep me on track of the right path in my success. To strive and look for
the missing piece that completes my missions. No one loses, but everyone learns.

My fellow graduates, let us always remember to thank God. He is the one who made this possible for us, his
guidance and may we always remain mindful of the blessings we have received. We shall always be thankful
for what is given, for we are lucky to have quality education and loving people that surround us.

Congratulations, once again to the graduating class of 2023-2024!

May our futures be filled with happiness, success and gratification.

I am Maria Rovic S. Velasco, Grade 6 class of 2023, Proud to be Luisian!

Thank you and Godbless.
