I Background/Situational Analysis
The management of solid waste is a major issue in our Barangay. We produce waste
every day, and incorrect waste disposal can have a negative impact on the environment
and our health. Our initiative, "Hakbang tungo sa kalinisan," seeks to resolve this
problem by putting in place a solid waste management system in our neighborhood.
This project of ours will aim to address the increasing environmental concerns
associated with improper waste disposal and promote a cleaner, greener, and more
sustainable place. By adopting waste management strategies, we can minimize waste
generation, and reduce the overall environmental impact of improper waste
management

II Project objectives
The Hakbang tungo sa kalinisan: A proposal for solid waste management aims to:
 Educating the community on the importance of waste management and its
impact on the environment and public health.
 Create a method for sorting and separating waste so that recyclable,
compostable, and non-recyclable waste are properly separated.
 Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the waste management system
through regular assessments and feedback.
III Expected output
By the end of July 2023 the outputs expected are as follows:
1. More than 90% of the Barangay’s solid waste will be reduced off the streets

2. 80% of the Barangay’s recyclable waste will be recycled

3. 95% of the Barangay’s residents will know the variety of recyclables and its
benefits to our lives

4. 100% of the Barangays’ residents will be fully acknowledge the awareness


on proper waste management

IV Risk management plan

Cost overrun
Proper financial planning and monitoring are essential to prevent cost overruns. In
order to prevent it we need to develop a realistic budget by conducting detailed cost
estimations and accounting for contingencies, we can also Implement effective cost
control measures, such as careful procurement processes, regular financial
reporting, and careful cost management strategies

Community opposition
Address community concerns by charming in open and obvious communication.
Conduct community consultations, public gatherings, and information gatherings to
determine correct project information and address misunderstandings. Seek
recommendation from community representatives, address their concerns, and
include them in decision-making processes. Implement community engagement and
reach programs to support a sense of partnership and involvement

Delays in project
We will need to develop emergency plans to account for potential delays and
establish clear communication channels along contributors to immediately address
any issues. Regularly monitor the project's progress and take full of enthusiasm
measures to mitigate delays, in the way that adjusting timelines, assigning
additional resources, or pursuing alternative solutions
