-:Introduction:-
Moviola, the first editing machine, was invented in 1924 by Iwan Surrier.
This machine was used to edit and trim the unwanted scenes in the clip.
The machines is still in existence and used majorly in Hollywood.
A video editor is a technically motivated individual that is involved with
making creative video editing decisions in the post-production of film
making and video production. The video editor’s responsibilities involve
decisions about the selection and combining of shorts into sequences,
and the addition of a sound effects and music to finally create a finished
movie, television program, commercial, or promo.

This is also referred to as machine to machine or linear editing. Video

editor usually use non-linear editing software today to accomplish the
task of editing. Video editing is the manipulation and arrangement of
video shorts. Video editing is used to structure and present all video
information, including films and television shows, video advertisements
and video essays.

Abstract
This report presents an investigation into the workability of automated
editing techniques for personal/home video helped by possible
knowledge bases. The ultimate goal of this report is to find the solutions
to the unresolved problems of automated video editing tool, such that
users can still get satisfying resulted video without the burden of
burdensome editing processes. A system design for such a tool is
proposed based on a investigation of related literature, and suggestions
as well as questions are discussed in this report.

Advantages

content often requires the use of multimedia formats like video and
images.

countless benefits, it takes away from a personal side of
discussion.

 Conclusion
Before making my Project, I had a tough time understanding
role of video editing. The process of Exploring for making my
project helped me learn and understand the basis concept. I
am happy with my learning experience by making this project.
In summary, we believe that this dissertation provides a
valuable contribution, firstly by examining the needs of a wide
range of users of video processing tools, and then by
examining a possible solution which would satisfy those
requirements
