Solved Examples:

The width, length, and height of a small box are 15.5,


27.3, and , respectively. Calculate the volume of the box, using the correct
number of significant figures in your answer.

The average speed of a nitrogen molecule in air at 25 °C is 515m/s. Convert this


speed to miles per hour.
