Canceling Authentication
KPT-300LMC is the software to authenticate PC software licenses (Software Level Licenses and Software Upgrade
Licenses) and transceiver functions licenses (Radio Feature Licenses) including upgrades.
0 Offline Authentication by Using the USB License Storage (USB Offline Authentication)
By using the USB License Storage where the authentication information of a Radio Feature License is recorded, the
Radio Feature License can be authenticated for multiple transceivers while offline without direct communication with
License Management Server. To execute offline authentication by using the USB License Storage, the USB License
Storage needs to be purchased from JVCKENWOOD or an agency.
0 User Registration
For user registration (Account Registration Key registration), KPT-300LMC must be started while online. For
authenticating Radio Feature Licenses, user registration is required.
If Software Level Licenses or Software Upgrade Licenses is only used, user registration is not necessary. Also, if only
offline mode is used, user registration is not necessary.
User registration can be done by entering an Account Registration Key from the menu of KPT-300LMC. User Registration
needs to be done for each PC using KPT-300LMC. (Refer to Applying for Account Registration Key on page 52,
Registering Account Registration Key on page 52.)
0 Log Output
Operation results such as authentication and canceling authentication of KPT-300LMC can be automatically saved as a
log file in CSV format.
By connecting to License Management Server managed by JVCKENWOOD via an IP network, KPT-300LMC can
authenticate various licenses. Also, KPT-300LMC can authenticate various licenses even though it is not connected to the
IP network.
The following is the procedure to authenticate Software Level Licenses and Software Upgrade Licenses while online or
offline. Also, authentication of the various PC software licenses can be canceled. Only one PC is allowed to use the Software
Level License per license.
For authenticating PC software, a License Key for the corresponding product is required. If there is no License Key, contact
the place of purchase of PC software.
Note
0 To use KPT-300LMC, Windows needs to be logged on as a user having administrative privileges.
