GROUP PRESENTATION ASSIGNMENT

Assignment Instructions:
• Students are to be divided into 6 groups of own choices and selection. Class monitor should
work with the classmates to get a list of the group and students’ name in an excel file and
submit to lecturer before the following week’s Monday.
• In each group, students are to:
o deliver a 15 minute in-class presentation on a topic of each class’s topic to be taught
based on the Course Syllabus and respective group numbering (i.e Group 1 present on
Parties and Representatives.)
o be ready to answer related questions in the Q&A session which may last between 5 and
10 minutes after the oral presentation.
o do and submit ONE DAY before the group presentation of students’ respective turns one
written assignment of at most 10 pages including its cover page that discuss their
presentation content and topic, and the presentation slide to the google drive.

Group - Teacher Communication:


• Groups will meet with the Lecturer to discuss progress to date and their plan for moving forward
if needed.
• Prior to the presentation date, the Lecturer will be available by email and during or after classes
to discuss the assignment.

Due Dates:
1) Presentation Slide and Written Assignment:
i. Group 1: 1 day before class 3
ii. Group 2: 1 day before class 4
iii. Group 3: 1 day before class 5
iv. Group 4: 1 day before class 6
v. Group 5: 1 day before class 7
vi. Group 6: 1 day before class 8
2) Oral Presentation – starting Class 3, in class, slide presentation

Assignment Resources:
• Please refer to the related law, legal provision, and own research. Students may use the same
topic content as stated in the Syllabus.

Grading:
• Group members will be graded individually for the oral presentation, and it will be a group grade
for the written assignment.
• In circumstances where a group member contributes nothing to their group, other group
member(s) should report to the lecturer, and that student’s grade will be reconsidered.
• Lecturer will grade students’ work by taking into consideration, the teamwork, confidence, good
research of the topic, professional and neat level of the slide presentation, and presentation
style of the oral and written form of the group.
