1Anyone who had to create learning materials from scratch knows how intensive and time consuming
this process can be. This process can be made easier by reusing existing learning and teaching materials.
Creating a unified repository enables time and effort savings, opportunities to transfer technical and
technological knowledge among educational staff, exchange of practical applications experience and,
most importantly, quality enhancement of educational materials. Unified repository is a web-based
database application software that is used for simplifying the tasks of sharing learning contents and
resources between different universities through providing a unified solution and access point. This
paper proposes a model for building a unified e-learning repository system for Balkan University
Association (BUA), to enable academics to store, classify, access and share teaching and learning
materials, BUA resources and not only. By providing a flexible unified repository that can be adjusted to
suit the diverse learning styles and necessities of students and staff, the structure proposed here can go
a long way in alleviating the burden each university has to bear in terms of effort and finance

The sharing of open-access neuroimaging data has increased significantly during the last few years.
Sharing neuroimaging data is crucial to accelerating scientific advancement, particularly in the field of
neuroscience. A number of big initiatives that will increase the amount of available neuroimaging data
are currently in development. The Big Brain Data Initiative project was started by Universiti Sains
Malaysia as the first neuroimaging data repository platform in Malaysia for the purpose of data sharing.
In order to ensure that the neuroimaging data in this project is accessible, usable, and secure, as well as
to offer users high-quality data that can be consistently accessed, we first came up with good data
stewardship practices. Then, we developed MyneuroDB, an online repository database system for data
sharing purposes. Here, we describe the Big Brain Data Initiative and MyneuroDB, a data repository that
provides the ability to openly share neuroimaging data, currently including magnetic resonance imaging
(MRI), electroencephalography (EEG), and magnetoencephalography (MEG), following the FAIR
principles for data sharing.

The primary objectives of the repository design were to disseminate scholarly materials, preserve
research work, and facilitate global visibility for the research works of the institution. The system aimed
at benefiting students and other users by enhancing accessibility to academic materials and preserving
student research. However, the study acknowledged its limitations, particularly the reliance on a sample
size.
As part of the insights gained from the review of related literature, the research paper recommends the
continuous development of a more advanced repository system over time. This advanced system should
have the capacity to capture studies across all faculties within the institution or even extend its reach to
various institutions across the country. The aspiration is to create a comprehensive and centralized
repository that goes beyond the initial limitations of the sample size, contributing to a broader and more
inclusive academic resource.

As a result of the National Agricultural Innovation Programme (NAIP) framework, Krishikosh has
emerged as a digital archive. Its main objective is to collect, digitise, and distribute online resources
obtained from libraries of allied sciences and agriculture in India. The increasing demands of the
scientific, academic, and research communities are directly addressed by this project. Krishikosh
functions as a dynamic software platform that smoothly integrates with the open access paradigm in
accordance with ICAR's Open Access Policy, much like a cloud service. It has developed into a required
platform for holding a wide range of resources, including academic publications, historical texts, theses,
journal articles, yearly reports, seminar proceedings, project results, newsletters, success stories, and
the field of grey literature. The study reveals that the Krishikosh digital repository comprises 266,288
documents, encompassing theses, books, journals, project reports, and more related to agriculture and
allied sciences. These documents were contributed by 106 libraries affiliated with SAU and ICAR
institutes, with the top ten libraries contributing over half of the total documents. TANUVAS, Chennai,
emerged as the primary contributor with 25,869 records (9.71%), followed by UAS, Bengaluru, with
22,272 records (8.36%). Theses and dissertations constituted the majority, totalling 193,089 records
(77.79%), with UAS, Bengaluru, leading in this category with 14,326 records (7.40%). The repository's
interface offers robust search options, facilitated by Agro tags for semantic searches, promoting efficient
resource discovery. Administrative control lies with institutional stakeholders, enabling content
management. This analytical study provides a comprehensive perspective on the repository's varied
resources, offering multidimensional benefits for agricultural studies and research.

Evolution of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has affected on most of the sectors
around the world. E-learning is one of the resultant area in education that affected by the immerging
technologies of ICT. Traditional way of teaching and learning are out dated and new ways, methods
arriving at due to the technological enhancements. Unfortunately, due to the lack of facilities, we Sri
Lankans had only adopted a very few in the process of teaching and learning. Recent years this situation
seems to be changed in our system of education. The specialists have identified that it cannot be
survived without ICT and our next generation should be facilitated with these technologies in order to
win the world. New reforms in education are arriving at and many projects are deployed towards this.
Many institutions are willing and trying at their best to go online and to do their tasks electronically.
These reasons led to propose a system in which electronically store and retrieve learning objects that
could be used as visual aids in teaching and learning process. Since our school also interested with the
idea, a need analysis was conducted. A positive response was given by the need analysis making a
starting point with the proposal to develop a Web Based Learning Object Repository. The system will
facilitate the teachers, students as well as the guest by providing access to Learning Objects. This would
ease the tasks of the teachers and students towards a better tomorrow. Object oriented methodologies
were employed and the MVC framework was used to structure the development of the system. At the
end of the project, a properly tested, working system was developed and deployed successfully. This
thesis describes the complete system development process of the Hakahinna Learning Object
Repository (HLOR) from identification of system requirements to the end of evaluation process.

In December 2016 EFSA and BfR stepped into a Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) to work jointly
on the development, improvement and dissemination of global food safety tools. As outlined in the
Specific Agreement #7 of this FPA one specific objective was to work towards the development of a fully
operational online model repository that includes features to create, upload, download and execute
models with user-defined inputs for the predefined model parameters. The user interface of the so-
called FSK-Web model repository had to be designed such, that it is user-friendly and usable on various
end-user devices and web browser software. The developed “FSK-Web 1.0” platform now even contains
additional services, e.g. to link models with EFSA’s Knowledge Junction (KJ) or to join up to four models
in a graphical user-interface (GUI) online. Detailed manuals, video tutorials and an online e-learning
course were developed to support the use of the FSK-Web repository. A repository disclaimer and a
model curation policy were drafted and will be released after being agreed with EFSA. The project
created three key outcomes: (1) an operational curated web-based food safety model repository, and a
significant number of executable QMRA models in FSKX format relevant for risk assessment; (2)
improved usability and annotation of the various services offered by the FSK-Web model repository
including manuals and online resources explaining the functionality and use of all aspects of the model
repository; (3) provision of the possibility to link different FSKX models to create new combined models,
including the option to combine models programmed in different scripting languages (also execution of
combined R / Python models supported).

Title:The Indonesian National Scientific Repository: A Case Study of Research Data Sharing
Research has been conducted to explore the process of sharing research data through the Repositori
Ilmiah Nasional, Indonesia's national scientific repository, managed by the Center for Scientific Data and
Documentation at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (Pusat Dokumentasi dan Informasi Ilmiah,
Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia, or PDDI-LIPI). This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing
a case study methodology to investigate the factors influencing the sharing of research data, including
both supporting factors and obstacles. Data collection methods encompassed field observations,
examination of the repository system, semi-structured interviews with various stakeholders such as
researchers, development teams, and librarians, as well as analysis of pertinent policy documents and
guidelines. Despite the implementation of a new DataVerse repository system by the Center to facilitate
research data sharing, several challenges persist, hampering the repository's effectiveness in meeting
institutional goals of enhancing data accessibility. Notably, there is a recognized need for additional
training and engagement of researchers to encourage their participation in data sharing activities.
Furthermore, staff members must acquire proficiency in data management and curation to address
existing hurdles. Challenges encountered by researchers and librarians in data sharing activities include
issues related to policy, service visibility, and promotion. The study's findings are expected to contribute
to the awareness of stakeholders involved, fostering collaboration and ultimately optimizing the sharing
of research data through the repository.

Title: Development of an Institutional Repository for the Storage and Retrieval of Graduate Theses in
Computer Science
Institutional repositories bring together all university’s research under one umbrella, with the aim to
preserve and provide access to those resources on demand. Institutional repositories capture, preserve
and disseminate a university’s collective intellectual capacity and can as well serve as a meaningful
indicator of an institution’s academic quality. This study was aimed at the development of an
institutional repository that can be used for the storage and retrieval of information about graduate
thesis thereby curbing the likelihood of duplication of existing studies. The study identified the
functional and non-functional requirements of the system following which the design of the system was
specified using the unified modeling language (UML) tools. The system was implemented using Web 2.0
technologies. The results of the study showed that the system provided an online institutional
repository which improved the quality of research conducted by graduate students by eliminating
duplication.
