The models of demand-pull and technological push:

The interaction of technology and business performance of the Apple in making


Apple Watches follows this principle: changes made to products are driven by two
factors: technology push, i.e. factors that directly fostering advances in science and
technology leading to the increase of the supply of technological choices and
demand-pull, I.e. factors that raise the demand or change the prices of specific
technologies. In this case, Apple first made the changes to fit the users’ needs then
added more and more innovative changes along the way as the new products come
out. The list of changes are as below:

It can be seen that Apple is following the technology push as the new technological
changes leads to the development of the new product. As Apple continues to
research and develop new features for their Apple Watch, these pushes will advance
