Outcome: Developed a contract for all USF student organizations on campus to work with USF CSCMP Roundtable to increase
recruitment of students and decrease semester based budget usage. This contract would help organizations collaborate on food/
event sponsorship, volunteer exchange, and technical workshops.
Managing a Technological Change at Florida’s Natural using Kotter’s Eight-Step Model May 2016 – November 2016
Outcome: In this group project, we worked with Florida’s Natural Growers (Cooperative Company) to help them recover from 3%
market share loss. We introduced a solution of using a new form of packaging for the 59-oz orange juice. We also advised the
company to sell the unused oranges affected by the Citrus Greening disease (HLB) to beer companies since the disease was not
harmful to humans and the oranges could be used as “hops” in beer manufacturing thus preventing food wastage.
Extraction of Glycyrrhizic Acid from Licorice Roots June 2014 – June 2015
Outcome: Experimented and achieved an optimum concentration of 86% from solute and solvent mixture to obtain Glycyrrhizic
acid from Licorice roots. Compared results from different extraction methods and proved Ultrasonic extraction method as the most
efficient method to obtain Glycyrrhizic acid of higher purity.
The Blending of Transformer Oil, Paraffin Oil & Quality Control (Savita Oil Technologies Ltd) April 2014
Outcome: Studied the blending process of Paraffin oils of IP Grade and Transformer oils of commercial grade. Proposed and
increased the efficiency of treated water at the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) by 3%. Managed the quality control of blended
Paraffin and Transformer oils to ensure consistency of the product.
