properties/characteristics of light, heat and sound.

At the end of the lesson, students should be able to;
a. explain the effects of force applied to an object,
b. identify the changes happens to an object shape when force applied to an object;
c. illustrate what happens to an object when force is applied.

A. ENGAGE
Directions: The students will identify if the given actions change its size, shape, or
measurements. (board work)
B. EXPLORE
The teacher will provide a dice to the students and the teacher will sing a song called
paru-parong bukid while passing the dice to each of the students, then when the teacher
stops singing the student who got the last touch of the dice will be answering the questions
if it is a true or false.
C. EXPLAIN
● A force is a push or pull, which occurs when two or more
objects interact with each other.
● A force has amount and direction.
● Effects of Force on Objects
D. ELABORATE
Activity 1: What’s the action?
Directions: The teacher will demonstrate the force and action and the students will
observe the changes happen to an object shape when force applied to an object.
E. EVALUATE
Activity: Push or pull?
Directions: Check if the action is pull, push, or both push and pull. Answer this in
your activity notebook.
