Quick Guide IA LogIC English V2

The document contains descriptions of various diagnostic tests and their expected results for a clinical analyzer. It provides information on acceptable and unacceptable results for tests measuring wash aspiration monitoring, pressure monitoring, liquid level sensing, valve pressure checks, results profiling, dark counts, and tail analysis. Potential root causes are given for abnormal results, such as clogs, sensor issues, electrical noise, and contamination. Troubleshooting tips are also provided, such as checking sensors, fittings, dispensers, manifolds, and cleaning optical areas.

WAM - Wash Aspitation Monitoring PM - Pressure Monitoring

GOOD GOOD
- Horizontally aligned Deltas - Grouped points, following
- Three separate lines, one a horizontal trend
for each probe - No points off the main axis

BAD BAD
- Aspiration with dispersed - Start with decreasing
Deltas graph then increases the
- Values ranging from 2,633 value and stabilizes (PM
° C to 7,877 ° C sensor exchange)
At the beginning there is a
pressure monitor failure

Root cause: clogs, malfunctioning valves, dirt in the system Root cause: Damaged pressure monitor sensor, probe obstructed
Tips Tips
BAD IN ONE WASH ZONE BAD IN TWO WASH ZONE - Check the pressure monitor sensor and fittings
- Check Probe, thermistor, vacuum - Check vacuum accumulator, tubing, - Check the probe for obstruction
vessel, vacuum valves and drain vacuum valves and drain, vacuum
pump

LLS - Liquid Level Sense M&D 2055 - WZ Valve Pressure Check

GOOD GOOD
- Graphic with aspiration in - Maximum pressure <20 PSI
a continuous line - Slope <= 1.2
- Grouped Points - The three nozzles dispens-
ers has the same behavior,
no significant differences
betwen peak pressure values

BAD BAD
- Aspiration points off the - Gap between the three
main line dispensers
- Amplitude difference - Significant differences
between points between peak pressure
values

Root cause: dirty and damaged antennas, cables poor connection, probe clip, electro- Root cause: Malfunction of the buffer pump or bad adjustment between the two
nic noise sources heads, damaged wash zone valves
Tips Tips
Check for changes in the kit S/N for the same lot of reagent - If pressure <6 PSI check the pump, PM board or leaks
- Observe the graphs of R1 and R2 antennas which they aspire lower volume - Important: Do NOT swap trigger or pre-trigger valves with the wash zone, the
- Low values = Reagent or full test tube, high values = empty container chemical properties can contaminate and damage the system
- Special attention for pipetting order of tests and graphic scale
Results - Read Profiler Results - Dark Count Distribution
GOOD GOOD
- Reaction starts from zero - Grouped values, following
- Peak reaction between the a pattern
4 th and 6 th sub-reading - Few fluctuation of points
reaction drastically lowered
between 12 th and 14th,
from 15th tends to zero

BAD BAD
- Do not start from zero - Values initiated <50 and
- It has two peaks between drastically increased up to
the 4th and 8th sub- 225
readings

Root cause: Trigger valve, optical system, electrical noise interference Root cause: Light interferences, trigger valve, optical system
Tips Tips

- Check electrical grounding - Acceptable values <100, nominal value <50 as a safety zone
- Check the trigger dispensing valves and optical system -Clean the trigger / pre-trigger manifould and optic area
- Clean the trigger and pre-trigger manifold and optical area - Check the History log for RV loader issues

Results - Dark Count Results - Tail Analysis

GOOD GOOD
- Dark count readings <10 - Consistent values
- The whole population has
value <30%

BAD BAD
- Dark count readings > 10 - Values> 30%
- Errors 1007 and 1008

Root cause: Statics, noise comming from the bad Vortexer and motors grounding ,
Root cause: Trigger valve, light interference, optical system
PT Valves
Tips Tips

- Check the ground conditions - Assays with low RLU signal are more sensitive
-Clean optic area - Value should be <30% (sum of 15 ° to 30 ° sub-read / Signal Count)
- Different assays have different percentage values, however a specific test must
have the same percentage, independent of the reagent lot.
- View the Result.Log graphs to check the Read Profiler
