Responsibilities:

 Establish COSTING MODELS for key products and components to enable directional decision
making thereby cost improvement
 Verify and compare the complex cost BILL OF MATERIALS for accuracy and help to identify gaps
and opportunities for improvement/cost reduction
 Optimizing current processes and REDUCE SCRAP
 Investigate supplier existing process, quality control, material cost and overall part cost. Suggesting
alternates to improve quality and reduce the overall part cost (QCD).
 Participate in design reviews for all new products development to ensure the implementation of
previous “LESSONS LEARNED” and verify Value engineering DESIGN TO COST
 Individually prepares reports to illustrate and track COST IMPROVEMENT for all product groups and
prepares relevant financial reports on results.
 Conduct VAVE, Product BENCHMARKING, and TEAR-DOWN WORKSHOP to identify potential cost-
saving improvements
 Organizing weekly review meeting with Operations & Marketing team to sign off ECR & ECN’s
 Team size handled : 10

Achievements:

 From April 2021-March 2023, totally 47 cost-saving proposals have been submitted to
management and got approved. Resulting in a cost savings of 7.1Million rupees.
 Commodity wise cost savings : Plastic-14 proposals, Metal-12 Proposals, Natural Stone -
4proposals, Fasteners - 2proposals, Packaging Material-8 proposals
 Process Optimization - 7 proposals
 Scrap Utilization : 1.1 Million rupees
