Journal as your go to safe place to lay down
thoughts, feelings and personal experiences. My
wish for you is to have plenty of “a-ha” moments
and realizations as you begin your shadow work
journey and allow yourself to fully immerse into
the process of becoming more self-aware.
How to use this journal

If you’re not familiar with the practice of shadow


work and the significance of the Chakras, please
make sure to go through the brief summary that
you’ll find over the next few pages.

Once you’ve familiarized yourself with these


concepts, you’re ready to begin your Chakra
shadow work. There is a total of 7 sections, each
containing 20 questions. Make sure you reflect
deeply before answering in order to obtain the
most truthful answers and begin shedding a light
on your shadow self. For best results, make sure
you give in depth, truthful, focused answers rather
than short, general ones.

Use the blank space underneath the lines to takes


some notes regarding your revelations/identified
patterns or whatever else you discover.
*Please note that the questions may trigger
certain emotions and memories that you may not
feel fully comfortable with. Take your time,
breathe and meditate on your insights. Feel the
emotion without becoming the emotion. Know that
you are completely safe! You’re healing and
growing by accepting your shadow self and by
taking away its power to control your reactions.
You are peeling off layers of conditioning, belief
structures and self-sabotaging patterns. You are
freeing yourself of the heavy baggage that isn’t
yours to carry.
What is the shadow self?

The shadow self (also known as our “dark side”)


is the part of ourselves that we suppress, hide
from the world and whose existence we refuse to
acknowledge and accept. It is also called the
“disowned” self, consisting of parts of us we
claim to no longer be our own:

→Impulses such as greed, envy, rage
What is shadow work?

Shadow work is the practice of integrating


unconscious aspects of our psyche by recognizing
and allowing them to express themselves. This
leads to acceptance, forgiveness and, ultimately,
to a change of habitual patterns.

Shadow work is all about healing your wounded


child, giving it a tight, warm hug and reassuring it
that it’s accepted, heard and loved.
Chakras

Chakras are our energy centers, responsible for


maintaining the spiritual, mental, emotional and
physical health of our body in balance. Any
blockages within one or more chakras can affect
our overall wellbeing and create struggles in all
areas of life. Identifying how our beliefs and
subconscious programming contributes to chakra
blockages can be done by going within, meditating
on the potential answers to the questions and then
actively working on changing those automatic,
disempowering reactions, habits and patterns.
