ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON BRIGADA ESKWELAMAZING RACE DURING
THE CONDUCT OF DIVISION BRIGADA ESKWELA LAUNCHING 2023
Introduction
Brigada Eskwela is an annual activity for all schools in the Philippines. It is a week-long
event where students, teachers, parents, and the community come together to prepare
the school for the opening of classes. In this report, we will focus on the Brigada Eskwela
event that took place on August 15, 2023. The Brigada EskwelaMazing Race this activity
involved three groups composed of different external partners from the banking industry,
non-government organizations, and other foundations, participating in a competition to
repaint the school walls, chairs, and roof.
Objectives
The objective of the Brigada EskwelaMazing Race is to promote community involvement
in the school's improvement and to establish stronger partnership and network with
external partners. It aims to encourage teamwork, volunteerism and generosity among
the private institutions, NGOs and other foundations, and to promote the importance of
education as the foundation of success.
Participants
Three groups participated in the Brigada EskwelaMazing Race. Group 1 was composed
of representatives from the banking industry, Group 2 consisted of volunteers from non-
government organizations, and Group 3 was made up of individuals from other
foundations.
Activity Details
The activity began promptly at eight in the morning and lasted for four hours. The
participating teams were tasked to repaint portions of the school, including the walls,
chairs, and roof. The materials required for the activity amounted to 20,000.00 pesos.
The participants worked collaboratively, showing teamwork and cooperation while
completing their assigned tasks. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and
enthusiasm as each team demonstrated their effort and creativity to finish the project
within the time provided.

The Brigada EskwelaMazing Race was indeed a success as it brought together different
groups with different advocacies to work for a common goal. The event fostered team-
building, promoted volunteerism, and highlighted the importance of community
participation in improving the quality of education in the Philippines.
As an outcome of the event, the judges declared Group 1 ( Lead by Banco De Oro -BDO)
as the winner. They received a plaque of appreciation for their hard work and effort to
make the school more conducive for learning. The other participating teams also received
recognition and appreciation for their contribution to the event. Overall, the Brigada
EskwelaMazing Race was a successful and enjoyable activity that showcased the Filipino
bayanihan spirit.
