Rectifiers and Filters

1. Full wave bridge rectifier is a circuit that converts alternating current into pulsing direct current using four diodes connected in a bridge configuration. 2. During one half cycle, diodes D1 and D4 conduct while D2 and D3 are reverse biased. During the other half cycle, D2 and D3 conduct while D1 and D4 are reverse biased. 3. This allows current to flow through the load in only one direction during both half cycles, producing a pulsing DC output across the load.
