The BTVTEd is designed to meet the needs of professional teachers who can teach in one of the different
fields of specializations/ learning areas in TVET and higher education institutions like automotive technology,
Toted GOALS electronics technology, electrical technology, food and service management, garments, fashion and design, among
others.
PROGRAM LEARNING As per CMO No. 79 s. 2017, sec 6.3 graduates of BTVTEd degree should be able to:

Framework (PTTQF);
2. Demonstrate broad and coherent, meaningful knowledge and skills in any of the specific fields in
technical and vocational education;
3. Apply with minimal supervision specialized knowledge and skills in any of the specific fields in technical
and vocational education;
4. Demonstrate higher level literacy, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, learning skills needed for
higher learning;
5. Manifest deep and principled understanding of the learning processes and the role of the teacher in
facilitating these processes in their students;
6. Show deep and principled understanding of how educational processes relate to larger historical, social,
cultural and political processes;
