A. Introductory Activity
Drill: Let the learners read the following words:

B. Motivation Play a short video of a fire that happened in a residential area.


Ask the learners:
1. What calamity happened in the video?
2. Who helped to put out the fire? (AP Integration Community helper)
3. What could we do to prevent fire?
4. What can we do to help people who are victims of calamity such as
fire?
5. What are the things that we can give to help them?

C. Presentation Present a Donation Box and pictures of different things/goods.


Let the learners choose the things that they can give/share to people
who are victims of calamity?

What do you think is our topic for today?


(Present the lesson)
Show a picture of different calamities and let the learners identify
each.
D. Discussion What do we need to do in times of calamities?
Who are the community helpers that may help us in times of
calamities?

Group the class into three according to their level of development.
