Writing an Opposing Viewpoints Essay can be a challenging task that demands a careful balance of
research, critical thinking, and effective communication. The essence of this type of essay lies in
presenting contrasting perspectives on a particular issue, requiring the writer to delve deep into
various viewpoints, analyze their strengths and weaknesses, and ultimately synthesize a coherent and
persuasive argument.
The difficulty arises from the need to remain impartial while exploring opposing stances, ensuring
that each viewpoint is represented accurately and fairly. This demands meticulous research to
understand the nuances of each perspective and the underlying motivations of those who hold them.
Striking a balance between these opposing views without appearing biased or favoring one side over
the other requires finesse and a nuanced understanding of the subject matter.
Furthermore, the structure of an Opposing Viewpoints Essay is crucial, as it must provide a clear and
logical flow for the reader to follow. Organizing the information in a way that allows for a seamless
transition between different perspectives while maintaining clarity can be a formidable challenge.
In addition to the intellectual demands, the emotional intelligence required to handle contentious
issues is vital. It is essential to navigate the sensitive aspects of opposing viewpoints with respect,
acknowledging the validity of different perspectives while presenting a well-reasoned argument in
favor of one's own stance.
Despite these challenges, crafting an Opposing Viewpoints Essay can be a rewarding intellectual
exercise, fostering a deeper understanding of complex issues and honing critical thinking skills. It

Wound Cleaning Research Paper
When the majority of the wound is not covered by necrotic tissue (at least 75%) our
treatment should be focused on selective debridement. With this type of removal we will
only be working with the necrotic tissue. Depending on the physicians order we may use
this in our treatment. Another important aspect is woundcleansing. Every time the
dressing is changed they should clean the wound. We should avoid using hydrogen
peroxide, soap, povidone iodine because they could damage the healing process. The
recommended solutions are water (drinkable tap or sterile) and normal saline. We should
also consider using syringe irrigation to apply the solution. Finally, wound moisture is
another important aspect we would need to take into consideration.
