DIAGNOSTICS - NAVIGATION SYSTEM

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 INSPECT GATEWAY ECU(BATT, ACC, IG, GND ,CG)

(a) Disconnect the gateway ECU connector G5.


(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the
table below.
G5 Standard:
Tester connection Condition Specified condition
IG GND - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
CG
CG - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
BATT
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table
GND
ACC I40180 below.
Standard:
Tester connection Condition Specified condition
BATT - GND or CG Always 10 to 14 V
ACC - GND or CG Ignition SW ACC 10 to 14 V
IG - GND or CG Ignition SW ON 10 to 14 V
