Notes

Safety rules for lubricating and cleaning the

weaving machines

• Switch off main switch.

• Hang warning notice "Do not switch

on" over the main switch.

• Lock the main switch with your per-

sonal padlock.

• Replace cover plates removed for lu-

brication work before resuming ope-

rect lubrication, so they should
first be cleaned, then greased or
oiled.

•Equipment not made by Sulzer

Textil (e.g. dobbies, jacquard ma-
chines) must be lubricated accor-
ding to the manufacturer's in-
structions.

Lubricant consumption / filling amounts

The amount of lubricant needed for a weaving

machine after a running time of 6000 hours is listed
on the table on the following page.

The table also shows the amount of lubricant needed

in the first, second and third year, taking the pre-
scribed oil change into account.

Note: When the weaving machine is delivered, the oil

baths are filled or lubricant supplied, so that
the weaving machine can be put into operation
at once.
A sufficient amount of spray oil is supplied to
last approximately six months.
