In recent years, there has been a noticeable shift in our perspective of our living
areas. Meanwhile, other urban residents live in an unnatural residences and office buildings
that lack charm and character. These are the 'barely liveable places' that have become
common in numerous cities throughout the world. While they may meet our fundamental
needs, they lack the soul and uniqueness that distinguishes a genuinely special place.
Pavlaki indicates that this is not as it should be and that we can do better by creating 'lovable
that not only meet our fundamental needs, but also provide us joy, comfort, and a feeling of
