unknown goddess stopped them, presenting herself as "The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles". She sealed
the power of one sibling, while taking the other. Lumine wakes up on a beach, in the world on the
continent of Teyvat, with no idea how much time has passed. After a while, she fished out Paimon, a
floating female "pixie" like creature, who promised to be her guide. After 2 months, Lumine and Paimon
set off to find the gods of this world, to learn the whereabouts of her brother.

Prologue: Act I: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind

What does freedom really mean when demanded of you by a god?
Lumine went to Mondstadt City, the city of freedom. It is in the nation of Mondstadt, where the Anemo
Archon presides. She learns that the continent is divided into nations who is under a god’s rules, 7 of
them total, each representing this world’s elements, Pyro (Fire), Hydro (Water), Anemo (Wind/Air),
Electro (Electricity/Lightning), Dendro (Plants), Cryo (Ice) and Geo (Earth). Lumine then found a “Statue
of the Seven”, this one in the form of the Anemo Archon. It had granted her the ability to manipulate
Anemo, learning that she has a good sense of elemental manipulation. While walking through the forest,
Lumine came across a young boy in blue-ish green, talking to a massive dragon. After her Anemo powers
went off, the dragon had turned fierce once again, the green boy disappeared, the only thing left behind
was an ominous glowing red teardrop shaped crystal, which she kept. Lumine then learns about the
existence of "Visions''. In Chinese, they can be translated as "The Eyes of the Gods''. Visions allow
mortals to wield elemental powers, which she was an exception to. We learn the existence of "Hilichurls",
masked humanoid monsters who can wield the elements to an extent. When arriving at the city,
Mondstadt was attacked by the dragon, named Stormterror. A mysterious but familiar voice helps us, in
the form of a blessing of Anemo. Lumine was introduced to the main force in the Knights of Favonius
(the Mondstadt Military), Outrider Amber, Lisa the Librarian, Kaeya the Cavalry Captain and Jean, the
Acting Grand Master. After helping out with destroying “Dragon’s breath” in domains in an attempt to
weaken Stormterror’s storms, we leave the domain. A small mysterious floating creature who wears a
mask appears, who seems to have to do with the dragon and Hilichurl attacks. A man in black with a Pyro
vision takes care of the creature out of nowhere, to which Kaeya says “With your involvement in this
made things just got a whole lot more interesting”.

Prologue: Act II: For a Tomorrow Without Tears

Lumine learns about the crystal, it was filled with impurities that repels elemental ones, hurting those who
wield visions. Lisa, after finding out, hands it back to Lumine, as it seems that she was an exception to
that too. Lumine meets the strange green boy, Venti the Bard. Through the song that he sings, he retold
the story of “Dvalin”, Stormterror’s true name. “The Holy Lyre” was always used to call him, and he had
defended Mondstadt for thousands of years. But one day, a vile evil dragon, Durian, arrived. Dvalin
defeated the Durian, but Durian’s vile corrosive blood infected Dvalin, casting him into sleep. When he
woke up, everyone only feared him. The Holy Lyre no longer answered, as Barbatos had left Mondstadt.
Dvalin was filled with anger, hate, pain, sadness, which the corrosive blood fed on. His negative emotions
manifested into the dark, red crystalized tears. Lumine takes out the tear to show Venti, but she had
somehow purified it. Venti takes one out, and she purifies it too. Her powers seem to do much much more
than what a vision wielder can do. According to Venti, the Anemo Archon left a long time ago, while
others like the Geo and Electro Archon still preside over their nation. Venti tells Lumines about the Abyss
Mages, the mysterious floating creature that had elemental abilities, along with the existence of the Abyss
Order, a group of non humans who are hell bent on destroying all humans. Venti then tries to obtain the
Holy Lyre, in which he exposes himself as the Anemo Archon, Barbatos, the god of wind, song and
freedom. Lumine then agrees to Venti’s plan of stealing the Holy Lyre, which ends up with a bust as
some weird purple lady teleported in and out in a spark of lightingWhen running away, we end up hiding
in a bar, who the owner was the man with the pyro vision. After convincing him, Master Diluc of the
Dawn Winery, he then brought Jean, who seems to know him and had worked with him for some time.
We learn that the fatui are trying to have Dvalin killed to put their power over Mondstadt. After going
around We learn the existence of the "Fatui Harbingers", 11 of the most powerful mortals who fall under
the Cryo Archon's command.

Prologue: Act III: Song of the Dragon and Freedom

Lumine joins “The Adventurer's Guild”, thanks to the front desk lady Kathryne. Her guild membership
would serve as identification. Lumine then goes to continue helping Venti at the Dawn Winery. Venti
tells Lumine about how Archons obtain their powers, by helping their people and nation. She meets La
Signora, "The Fair Lady", 8th of the harbingers, who are said to have the abilities that rivalled gods.
Lumine also learns the existence of a "Gnosis", a small chess piece like object that allows an Archon to
draw power from Celestia, the world of the gods. Signora overpowers Venti with Cryo abilities, kicks him
and steals the Anemo Gnosis. We learn about "Allogenes" (if translated in Chinese and then translated by
Japanese, you get "Genshin"), mortals with Visions that ascend to Celestia. We learned that something
happened 500 years ago which caused the Cryo Archon to cut off ties with Barbatos. We also learned that
the Abyss Order now rallies under one leader, someone who is called "The Prince".

Chapter I: Act I: Of the Lands Amidst Monoliths

Lumine arrives at Liyue Harbour, in the nation of Liyue, where the Geo Archon Morax rules over. Liyue
is the city of Contracts, and is the biggest business and trading hub on the continent. The common
currency of Teyvat, Mora, is named after him. Morax comes to Liyue once a year to guide his people, in
an event called the Rite of Descension. Morax is the oldest of the archons, 6000 years old. He is referred
to as "Rex Lapis" by the people of Liyue as a sign of respect. Paimon tells Lumine about the "Adepti",
who is said to "take the forms of mythical beasts". Lumine had came with a letter from Kathyrne of
Mondstadt to Kathyrne of Liyue. Ningguang, a Geo Vision user, the Liyue Tianquan (leader) calls forth
Morax during the rite, but only his corpse comes down. Ningguang locks down the place of the scene,
which we try to escape from. Running away from the Millelith (The Liyue Military), we meet Childe, a
Hydro Vision wielding Fatui Harbinger. Following his advice, we went to the adepti (Moon Carver,
Mountain Shaper, Cloud Retainer, and The Conqueror of Demons). We also learned that Liyue has been
established for over 3700 years. We then learn about The Conquerer or Demons' name, Xiao, the Vigilant
Yaksha, with the ability of wielding Anemo. We also learn that Morax's body is called the "Exuvia", the
Prime of Adepti.

Chapter I: Act II: Farewell, Archaic Lord

To sign the contract to end all contracts

Lumine is introduced to a man named Zhongli, a Geo Vision user, who works for Wangsheng Funeral
Parlour, by Childe. Zhongli agreed to help us get to Morax's "vessel" after they finished doing a send off
ritual. Zhongli tells Lumine that Liyue has been established for over 3700 years, is the most prosperous of
the 7 nations, and is ruled by a group called the Qixing. Even the Fatui has close to 0 diplomatic powers
there. Ningguang is the leader of the Qixing. Zhongli seems to have no concept of spending Mora, but is
knowledgeable in just about everything else. Zhongli tells Lumine about the Exuvia, that it was placed in
the Golden House, the only mint in all of Teyvat, where all of the world’s Mora is minted and created by
Morax. For the Rite of Parting, they collected Radiant Grade Noctilucous Jade, “Golden House Maiden”
“Valley Weaver” and “Fating’s Yearning” Silk Flower Perfume, the Cleansing Bell, kites, and
Everlasting Incense. While collecting those, Lumine learns that it has been 3700 years since the last
member of The Original Seven who has died. There's also a mention of a mysterious “That which lies in
the Deep''. From Madame Ping, a possible adeptus, she shows us the Serina Teapot, a teapot that has a
massive space inside. We also meet Qiqi, a Jiangshi, or zombie, who claims that she died but was able to
continue living thanks to the talismen given by an adeptus. She was a special case, able to issue her own
commands to herself rather than someone else controlling her. Through an errand for her, Lumine learns
of the “Guizhong Ballista '', a giant adeptus built mechanical crossbow that was used to protect Liyue
from giant monsters. While eating at “Third Round Knockout” with Zhongli, Lumine learns of the Jade
Chamber. The Jade Chamber is a giant palace that floats in the sky, designed and made by Ningguang. It
is where she gains and pools knowledge together, in the form of papers and documents. Whenever she's
finished, she destroys them, and throws them off the Jade Chamber. While eating, Lumine is approached
by Ganyu, a Cryo Vision Wielder with light blue hair, red and black horns. She is an emissary of the
Liyue Qixing, the secretary of the Yuehai Pavilion. Ganyu was there to send a message on the behalf of
Ningguang, inviting Lumine to the Jade Palace

Chapter I: Act III: A New Star Approaches

After promising to meet Zhongli at Dihua Marsh after meeting with Ningguang, Lumine went to the Jade
Chamber. While trying to find a way up to the floating Jade Chamber via the Guizhong Ballista, Lumine
gets into a little scuffle with the Millileth guards until a Liyue Qixing member shows up. Keqing, an
purple haired Electro Vision Wielder, the Yuheng of the Qixing. Keqing appears to not like divine deities,
but still respects Rex Lapis. As a gift, Lumine brought Sugar Frosted Slime, Paimon’s thought up snack,
made from sugar made from Extra Sweet Sweet Flower and a very clear Hydro Slime. We then go up to
the Jade Chamber through a guide, with the Yuheng’s code; “Do you sell the moon” and “It is
inconvenient to speak of numbers here”. Ningguang told Lumine how the Jade Chamber used to be just
one room, but now is a palace. Ningguang tells Lumine that she has been in contact with Jean. She also
says that every person in Wangshu Inn is under her. Ningguang tells Lumine about the “Archon War'',
when the gods of the world had a war with each other until it ended 2,000 years ago. From all of the gods,
7 victors stood among them, who are now the Archons. Guyun Stone Forest was the giant spears of rock
that Rex Lapis threw during the war. Under those spears are the gods who failed to take the position of
Archon. While in the Jade Chamber, Paimon wants one of the papers on Ningguangs walls. There
Lumines finds notes that seem to hint that the Fatui were conducting research on the duplication of the
“Sigil of Permission”. Lumine travels to where the map circles, and fights some Fatui Skirmishers, and
she finds a giant pile of replicated Sigils of Permission. She then goes to meet Zhongli, where they must
find Wild Glaze Lilies. We learn about “Whopper Flowers”, plant like monsters that imitate flowers.
Ganyu then appears, and from her Lumine learns that Barbatos is the only one left of the Original Seven
after Morax’s passing. Ganyu also remarks that the Dendro Archon is the youngest, at 500 years old,
while Morax was the oldest, being over 6000 years old and Liyue was founded 3700 years ago. Lumine
also learns that Ganyu herself is half human, half Qilin, and that Ganyu had fought under and for Rex
Lapis during the Archon War. She then gives us directions for the Glazed Lilies and Lumine heads back
to LIyue Harbour. At the gate, there was Millileth and Fatui everywhere. The Adepti were planning to use
force against Liyue, and the Qixing went to stall them. Due to something happening between the guards at
the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, the place that Zhongli works for, he left to deal with it. Lumine then
figured that Childe had something to do with this, and went to the Golden House to find him. Upon
entering the Golden House, Lumine felt something was wrong, and the guards were all unconscious.
Lumine went up to check on the Exuvia, and then Childe appears. He claims that as one of the Eleven
Fatui Harbingers, it’s his duty to collect the Gnosi for the Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon. Lumine and Childe
then fight for the Exuvia. At first Childe uses his Hydro Vision, but then midway through the fight, he
somehow was able to control and use the element of Electro. Childe had pushed Lumine back to the
Exuvia, but she too pushed back using both the power of Anemo and Geo. Unfortunately it was a ploy to
get to the Exuvia. Childe reached into the Exuvia, only to find no Gnosis. He accuses Lumine of having
it, and starts to transform. A mix of Hydro and Electro, taking the shape of demon-like armour, called the
Foul Legacy form. Childe destroys the floor of the Golden House and continues the battle. However, mid
way through while locked in fierce combat, Childe stopped and returned to normal. The Foul Legacy
Transformation takes a giant toll on the body, and Childe wasn't able to hold the form. He concluded that
Lumine doesn't have the Gnosis. Lumine had grown stronger, whether through gaining the powers of the
7 elements or that her original powers were in the process of restoring. Childe also concludes that Rex
Lapis is alive, while the corpse was a fake. Seeing as he can't get the Gnosis this way, he brings up his
backup plan, using the copies of the Sigils of Permission to awaken the god that lies beneath Guyun Stone
Forest; Osial, Overlord of the Vortex. He figured that that would make the Geo Archon come out. CHilde
disappears disappears in a swirl of Hydro. Lumine rushed outside where a storm had started and saw the
Jade Chamber moving towards the Vortex that appeared in the ocean. Five giant watery serpent like heads
came out of the water. Lumine rushed onto the Jade Chamber, where Adepti and Qixing were. THey had
put their differences aside to fight Osial. The god’s aura alone made normal mortals' knees shake. They
plan to use an upgraded version of the Guizhong Ballisa to battle the god. Ningguang uses her powers and
summons a platform, along with the Ballistae, which the Adepti used their powers on to fire. Black
smoky portals then appeared, and out came Fatui Skirmishers, attacking the Ballistae. Lumine, Keqing
and the Millileth went to fend them off. Osial too shoots back. As the army of Fatui were about to
overwhelm them, Lumine gained the Blessing of Madame Ping (Shockwaves), Ganyu (Vitality) and Xiao
(Swiftness). The 3 blessings combine together into an adept blessing. The adepti then puts together an all
out attack, dealing significant damage, however Osial too does the same. The attack destroyed the
platform and the Ballistas, where Lumine fell but was saved by Xiao. Seeing no other way, Ningguang
decides to sacrifice the Jade CHamber to kill the god. The adepti filled Lumine with their powers, and she
used it to send the Jade Chamber towards the god at full strength, defeating Osial. Due to the fact that
Morax never showed up, Lumine decided to look for Zhongli, as they had been preparing for Morax’s
Rite of Parting. We find him at the Northland Bank, with Childe and Signora. We then learn that Zhongli
all along was Morax, and was handing over the Geo Gnosis to Signora asan agreement through a contract.
The reason was that a merchant had told that he's done enough and to call it a day, and he started to think
if he was really finished with his duties. Morax tested the people of Liyue to see whether or not they still
needed his protection. In exchange for helping with his test, he wagered the Gnosis; should the people of
Liyue no longer need him, he would hand it over to Signora. Signora then would bring it to the
Zapolyarny Palace, to have an audience with the Cryo Archon. Zhongli claims that he's done it as “the
contract to end all contracts”. Lumine then attends the Rite of Parting. The people suspect Childe and the
Fatui of Morax’s “assassination”. At the Rite, the Qixing offers Lumine an reward for her efforts, which
she asks for help on finding her brother, Aether. She then finds Zhongli off to the side, who tells her some
disturbing news. Inazuma, the next Nation over, was closed by order of their deity, Baal, the Electro
Archon. In Inazuma, she is known as Raiden Shogun, Raiden being her name and Shogunate being her
position. Lumine was told that Inzazume was closed off due to Visions. When someone shows a true
strength of will at a desperate ro fateful moment of their life, the gods look upon them with favour and
grant them a Vision. Magical Foci given to those acknowledged by the gods. Starting the year before, the
Raiden Shogun had made the “Vision Hunt Decree”, an order to seize all Visions within Inazuma and
have them inlaid upon the Statue of the Omnipresent God. The Raiden Shogun is also the Goddess of
Eternity, with her optimus modi being “Seven ideals for seven gods, and of these, Eternity is nearest unto
the Heavenly Principles”. We also learn that without the Geo Gnosis, Mora will no longer be produced.
We also received a Serina Teapot made from Simmersoil and Smaragdus Jadeite from Madame Ping.

Ningguang announced publicly what was rumours going throughout Liyue; she was going to rebuild the
Jade Chamber. She asks for help on finding 3 key items that she could not get at the moment: Sunset
Vermillionite, Wonder Cores and Adepti Sigils. Vermillionite are a specific type of special ores called
Plaustrite, with the nickname of “Sunset”. They are what makes the Jade Chamber float. Wonder Cores
are the central components of the mechanical structure of the Jade Chamber. And lastly, Ningguang wants
to use the Adepti Sigils to integrate the mechanical devices with adepti arts. In exachnge, she will pay a
generous price and agree to honestly answer any question you ask her, one per item. Ningguang says that
the abandoned mine outside the Golden House would be used for the construction site. As Lumine was
about to set out, Paimon pointed out something fishy off to the side. Two men were trying get a young
lady to buy information from them, but when she refused and walked away, the two men chased after her.
Seeing as they might have information, Lumine when after them too.

Chapter Interludes: We Will Be Reunited:

Chapter I: Act IV - Prelude: Dainsleif:
Lumine heard that Kathyrne had news on a blond stranger in strange clothes who had just arrived in
Monstadt, and thinking it might be Aether, she rushed over. After asking around everywhere, we
eventually tracked the mysterious blonde at the Angel’s Share. The mysterious person ignored Lumine
until she mentioned that she's a traveller and that she's looking for a lost relative. He introduces himself as
Dansleif. Lumine asks him to go adventuring with her in hopes of finding some clues, and Dainsleif
agrees on doing it and asks for a payment of 500 mora and answers to 3 questions. Dainsleif’s questions
were; “Who, in your view, was the key to ending that crisis? (Referring to Stormterror)" "Who do you
think will defend Liyue Harbour in the future, now that they’ve lost their deity?” and “In this world with
those who have Visions and those that do not, which of the two do you think hold more importance in the
eyes of the gods” However, when asking these, he seemed to know a lot of information, like the identity
of Venti and Morax’s contract of handing over the Gnosis. After answers, Dainsleif tells Lumine that she
is really similar to “him”, but refuses to elaborate on who “him” is. Dainsleif then tells us to name the
commission, but that he will only accept those that have something to do with the Abyss Order. This
purpose of his own travels is to oppose the Abyss, and hes in Mondstadt on a trail of an Abyss Herald, an
even more twisted version of the Abyss Mages, who are on a higher chain of command and orders the
Abyss Mages to do their bidding. Following his leads, Lumine goes with him to the Temple of the Falcon.
Dainsleif tells her that the creatures of the Abyss desire nothing less than the overthrow of a world ruled
by the Archons, and that he had a history with them. They then go to Wolvendom to try to find the Abyss
Herald. They find Abyssal spells on top of flames around Borea’s lair. After putting out the flames and
encountering some Abyss Mages, Dainsleif had one final place; Stormterror’s Lair. Dainsleif remarks that
hes seen the place as “Old Mondstadt”, before Dvalin has been corrupted. When Paimon pointed out that
would havebeen several hundred years ago, Dainsleif just told her to “Don't think too much about it”. He
also mentions an old travelling companion a lot. While they were talking, Lumine then sensed something
on a cliff nearby. Dain then finds Ruin Guard prints, and saw a Dandilion. When Lumine touched it, she
has a flashback of when she and Aether battled the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles and when she was
sealed away. Through this, Dainsleif concludes that Aether at least is or was in this world. Dainsleif then
went off, saying that they would meet again.
